In the final preseason game for both team, Detroit would prevail over Buffalo 28-27.

The Lions started off slow as their first team offense really didn't put anything together throughout the first quarter. Jahvid Best couldn't gain anything on the ground, and Matt Stafford was only 4/6 for 25 yards in 3 series of work.

The Lions' first team defense played well however and impressed Coach Martinez so much that he took them off the field after 2 series of work.

The backups on offense and defense played well in spots, though the Lions found themselves trailing 27-17 near the beginning of the 4th quarter after CJ Spiller abused the backups on a long run.

QB Kellen Moore stepped in for Shaun Hill and led a 4th-quarter comeback. On the final drive with the Lions down 27-20, He bombed it deep to WR Dezmon Briscoe, who came down with a spectacular catch despite good coverage to give the Lions six points.

The Lions would decide to go for two to prevent a tie and a preseason game from going into overtime, and Moore would connect with TE Tony Scheffler. The Bills had the ball last, but Coach Legacy decided to run the clock out because he wanted to head to the locker as fast as he could to take a piss.

(He actually had to hurry to go to work, haha).

    GG Legacy .

Standout performers for the Lions: QB Kellen Moore, WRs Titus Young and Ryan Broyles, both offensive line units.
