Just trying to stay active here on the forums. Why doesn't everyone list what their projected team batting order is - just want to see how some of your teams stack up. You can list just the player or give their stat line from last year as well.

    Comments:

At first I thought of using A. Ramirez in the 2 hole but then I thought that I'd rather get my best hitters more at-bats. I'm not a huge fan of Juan Pierre but he is the best option this team has for the leadoff spot. If a better option emerges, look for Juan to slide to the 9 spot. It's possible down the line that Ramirez or Rios could take over leadoff duties depending on roster changes. If Beckham plays more like he did in his rookie year and towards the end of 2010 then he could be moving up in the order as well.

The power combo of Rios, Konerko, Dunn, and Quentin should be formidable, but each comes with a question mark. Rios was a lot better in the 1st half of '10 than the 2nd so which one will show up for '11. Paulie K is pretty damn old to be putting up those kinds of numbers so when will father time take its toll? Big Donkey has a friggin ton of power and the Cell should help his HR numbers which were already stellar. How he adjusts to a new league and not playing the fielf very much remains to be seen. Quentin is a question wrapped in an enigma. A few years back he could have won the AL MVP in 2008 if he wasn't a dumbass. Out of frustration he slammed his fist onto his bat and broke his wrist. He missed all of September. He ended the year with 36 HR (which I believe led the AL at the time) and a .965 OPS. He still has good pop but his average leaves a lot to be desired. Will the real Carlos please stand up.

3B is a toss up right now. Viciedo has good power, but issues with the glove and making contact against top pitching. Brent Morel will be in the mix as he is regarded as a very good defender but he is not much of a hitter right now. Mark Teahen will also receive consideration but he will likely be used in a utitlity role as he can play all over the diamond.

    I'll add photos later.

@PepperNY - no love for Castillo? Can't blame you there but D-Murph is gonna be an adventure in the field.

haha. I'm betting Luis Castillo gets cut before the season starts. Its open competition at 2B and like 4 guys are going for that in Dan Murphy, Brad Emaus, Luis Castillo, and Justin Turner. My money is on Murphy or Emasus as he was a rule 5 draftee from Toronto.
