    Pushing for Paydirt
    An Xbox 360 Online Dynasty Experience

    Dynasty Description
    Pushing for Paydirt was announced as a brand new premier league for the NCAA 13 release. The first 5 members stem from the original RMG OD that carried over from Operation Sports. As such, PFP had a good core of friends who know each other well. We've only added another dynamic by introducing new members who have acclimated into the goup seamlessly. PFP will run a 2 conference set-up, with 6 users in both the Pac12 and ACC.

    League Vision
    In PFP, we strive to create a galvanized group of membes and an atmosphere forges long-lasting friendships and camaraderie. While competitive, our main emphasis is on enjoying the experience and each other. We have done away with a "win at all costs" mentality, and embraced the opportunity to get to know one another on a more pesonal level. Additionally, we look to create a deeply engrossing experience through content and interesting story lines.

    Players leaving
    A player will not be allowed to attempt to sway a player from the pro draft if he:
    • is a JR that has won the Heisman
    • is a JR or SO(RS) and has won a major award (Thorpe, Maxwell, Biletnikoff, etc) and is > 90 OVR
    Kickers and punters can be swayed from pro draft regardless of OVR and class.

    The amount of scholarships that can be offered at any given time will be dictated by the following formula:

    A = number of seniors on your team that will graduate
    B = number of underclassmen that qualify for pro draft with aforementioned rules. So underclassmen that are 90+ and have won an award.
    C = number of walk-ons on your team. Walk-ons may be cut at any time.
    D = Three additional scholarships to provide a cushion.
    E = 70 - current amount of players currently on roster

    A + B + C + D + E = total number of available scholarships.

    • Note: Committed players count against your scholarship limit.
    1. Playbooks must be announced before season 1 kicks off.

    2. Playbook information will be made available to everyone.

    3. You must stick with your current playbook (or custom playbook) throughout the entire season. At season's end, you can make modifications.

    Custom Playbooks
    1. All custom playbook users must declare their custom playbook, all formations in that playbook, and the style of their offensive identity in a stickied thread BEFORE the first user game. All additions should reflect the scheme you have declared, and I prefer (but not demand) these formations be taken out of playbooks of a similar scheme (i.e. you are running a pro-style offense and take formations out of USC's pro-style playbook). The scheme "multiple" will not be permissible if you plan on utilizing a CPB.

    1A. The commisioner will review any alterations All playbooks therein are subject to the discretion of the commissioner: Commissioner may question a user why certain formations are in the playbook and for them to justify it in their philosophy. The commish may then determine if the reasoning is valid or not.

    2. Custom defensive playbooks are banned.

    3. The users is to avoid stacking his playbook with formations containing money plays.

    4. Privileges can be revoked on an as needed basis.

    Five Star Limitations
    The number of five star (5*) recruits players a program may recruit are as follows:

    • A baseline of three (3) 5* players for any program during any season
    • One (1) additional 5* player for any program that has a player win the Heisman Trophy the previous season
    • One (1) additional 5* player for any program that wins its conference the previous season
    • One (1) additional 5* player for any program that wins the BCS national championship the previous season
    Under these guidelines, the most any program can have for 5* recruits is six (6).

    Any program found in violation of this rule will be forced to cut the last 5* signing and be penalized a single combined base 5* scholarship and one cushion scholarship. (Your cushion is reduced to two and you only have two 5* players you can sign).

    Commish note: After a search of top rankings over the past decade, only one program, USC 2004 with eight, had more than six 5* recruits. While these rules may appear restrictive, I believe it to be a good combination of realism, competitive balance and rewarding on-the-field accomplishments. Please also note that during the lead up to its run of three BCS titles in four years, Alabama never topped 3 or 4 5* players in its classes. Top-tier programs are free to gorge themselves on 4* players to their hearts' content.

    The commish also reserves the right to add a 5* player scholarship as a reward for excellent content or other achievements or remove 5* player scholarships as a punishment for extreme douchebaggery. The commish may not award himself a 5* player scholarship under any circumstances.

    Untouchable Recruit
    An untouchable recruit is:
    • A recruit that is already interested in the school of the user making the selection
    • The user making the recruit untouchable must be no lower than Top 5 overall
    • The user making the recruit untouchable must be the top school of all users (i.e. he can be 4th on the recruit's board but above all other users)
    • If the user is out-recruited by a CPU team, he does not get a refunded selection
    The recruit must be declared BEFORE the Week 1 advance. The user must also take a screenshot of the recruit's Top School and post them to that season's recruiting board thread. Failure to do so BEFORE the Week 1 advance will forfeit the untouchable recruit.

    An untouchable recruit is a significant award that will be very rare. The most common way to win an untouchable recruit is to win the yearly pick'em contest.

    Advance Schedule
    Advances window will be as follows:
    • 48 hours for all games
    If a user game can not be started before 9 p.m. EST the night of the advance it will be simmed or one of the users can go on auto.

    All advances will be at 48 hours unless all user games are in prior to that point. An early advance will trigger an advance at the second 10 p.m. EST from the advance point.

    • CPU sliders will be difficult. If you cannot lose a game to the CPU, you shouldn't be in this dynasty.
    • As far as user games are concerned, any game that is within 21 points in the first half can be restarted. Any game within 14 points in the second half can be restarted. Please use discretion, communicate with your opponent, and come to a consensus. Notify the commissioner if there are issues, and he will resolve it accordingly.
    • Any game that will be restarted still needs to be done so in the 72 hour window.
    • Again, there will be losses. Power goes out, games freeze, emergencies occur. These are the only scenarios in which a restart will be allowed. If it happens more than once in a season for a specific user, there are potential consequences/penalties.
    Gameplay Rules
    PFP will operate under TSO site rules. Please refer to them here. Every member of PFP is expected to be well versed in these rules. Ignorance of the law is a crime.

    Also the Golden Rule of "Don't be a douchebag," is also in full force.

    Rules Changes from TSO site rules
    The no-huddle offense is banned outside of these specific circumstances:

    O.3.0 - Hurry Up Offense: All teams are allowed to run the "hurry up" offense in both two minute drill situations. Any team losing in the 4th quarter is permitted to hurry up as often as they like. When using the hurry up offense, please allow your opponent to set their defense before snapping the ball. Purposely trying to cause offsides penalties or taking advantage of defensive AI is not allowed.

    The no-huddle outside of those situations (losing in the 4th and two-minute drill situations) is banned.

    Coach XP and Skills
    Because of the extreme imbalance of the coaching skill trees, all users must adopt a 1:1 ratio of skill point allocations between the game management and recruiting trees. You are free to select whatever perks you wish but must alternate between the two trees. Persons found in violation of this rule will be forced to rejoin the dynasty at the beginning of the next season and rebuild an appropriate skill-tree allocation.
