Hi there - due to my poor offensive performance the last little while, I'm looking at adjusting my depth chart. Would it be violating the rules to make Jonathan Grimes my starting FB (he's actually assigned to the RB role) and Shonn Greene my starting HB? If this is a violation of the rules (ie, switching players from assigned positions), no worries. Just wanted to mix things up a bit so I have to ball carrier options on most plays.

    All the best!

Actually I would say sub him in in different packages manually, but not on the depth chart. That would be more realistic, as sometimes even TE's line up in backfield

    Marcel Reese FTW.

Dual HB package is an easy switch from the play call screen.

Grimes has a speed of 86. If he's too quick to sub for the FB, I don't mind not doing it. Just don't want to break any rules.

If it is okay, I will do package subs instead of depth chart - you're right that it makes more sense that way.

    Thanks!

I don't think this should be a problem. You can have dual HB in most two back formations using the right stick formation subs so I don't see what the problem would be if he made the roster move in the depth chart...
