    Browns Get Off On Right Foot, Win 31-3 Against Bengals
    [IMG]

    Johnny Football rattled off 3 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter to help bury the visiting Bengals early in this one, as Cleveland got off to a great start. The Browns struggled in the first quarter to get things going, but as Ben Tate got going so did the offense. Tate got the scoring started 3 seconds into the second quarter, and the 3 TD's from Manziel gave Cleveland a 28-3 lead at the halftime break. Alex Henery tacked on a field goal late in the third quarter to finish out the scoring.

    Cincinnati would finish the game with 130 yards of offense, 44 of which came on the first play. Johnny finished 19 for 24 for 250 yards and 3 TDs. Ben Tate had 21 carries for 104 yards, and a TD. Rookie wide receiver Shanard Baxter led all receivers with 6 catches for 117 yards and a TD. RB Darius Reynaud caught two TD's as well- one on a screen and one a HB wheel route where he just beat the LB to the edge. Andy Dalton tossed four picks on the day, with Whitner catching two, Buster Skrine with one, and Craig Robertson with one.

    Play of the game - Rookie WR Shanard Baxter scores his first NFL touchdown on a 3rd and 10.
    (Will update with highlight when I can get it to work- for now it can be seen at 1:37 in the 2nd quarter)

    Opening Day Win, Multiple Questions Soar
    [IMG]
    Santa Clara - Coach Pierre got off on the right foot after a 20-3 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 1. Even with the win the critics have come out to play, Ray Ratto from CSN Bay Area asked "With the offensive signings in the offseason, are you disappointed in todays results?".

    "Disappointed? No, we won. It wasn't pretty at times on the offensive side of things. But we got the W, that's all that matters."

    Mark Purdy from the Mercury news asked "Is Kaepernick's job in jeopardy? He looked lost at times. We know he isn't your quarterback, do you want to be allowed to pick your guy?"

    "Ha, no and no. He's the guy for the team, he's our quarterback".

    John Sutcliffe from ESPNDeportes asked "Will we see more of Bush? What's wrong with Boldin? Thoughts on the rookie tackle and why wasn't Gore in for the 2nd half?"

    "We will get the new guys more snaps as the weeks go on. They're new here so they're still picking up the new playbook I've gone with for the year. Boldin? He's our #4 receiver for now. Coley was tremendous. Gore? He will see 6-10 carries a game, we went with Hyde who had a tremendous 2nd half."

    Key Stats of the game:
    Chicago Bears (0-1)
    Jay Cutler 20-38 314 yards 0 TD 6 INT
    Matt Forte 14 Att 32 yards
    Roddy White 5 Rec 92 yards
    Tim Jennings 2 Tackles 2 INT

    San Francisco 49ers (1-0)
    Colin Kaepernick 13-22 92 yards 1 TD 2 INT

    As the season got off the Bills got outplayed. The game wasn't as bad as the score suggest, however drive ending interceptions by, what many in Buffalo are calling him now, Ej "The Turnover Animal" Manuel. Ej had interceptions all over the field especially in areas where the Bills thought points were a sure thing. The Bills surged to a 24-17 score however they could not pull within a tie. Bryce Brown himself however played well as he got his first 100 yard day and a touchdown. Speaking with Wide Receiver Sammy "put the ball in my hands" Watkins he had this to say "I feel bad for the pressure we put on Ej, he is just one man on a team of many. I know he had some bad passes, however we also had some break downs along the line as well some key drop balls. We cant expect to win games when we don't have everyone clicking on all cylinders." [IMG]

    Ej hearing this from his locker broke down in tears and hugged Watkins, the team gathered around Ej and showed support.[IMG]

    Prominent member of the team and season veteran Gilmore stood up in front of the team and rallied his troops stating " I myself wont play for a team that doesn't have Ej at the helm, each week we take the field together. I see this man in the gym, the film room, literally banging down coach stones office just to get better. The controversy that the media is causing saying Ej is a drugie that gets his rocks off by sleeping with crack whores and strippers stops now. This man is one of us and we are one, so from hear on out if Ej sleeps with a methed out Lonny then you better believe I call second. We will either win as a team of lose as individuals. From here on out no one questions Ej's play, if he throws a pick well then its my job to get the ball right back, this is the mentality everyone one of us are expected to have from here on out and if you have something different in mind well im sure the owners will find you a new team!" As the team lifted Ej on to their shoulders Head ball coach Stone busted out of his office stumbling left from right with a case of Keystone on his shoulders slurring the words "Letttts get drunk boys, practice isn't until 12tomorrow!" As the team proceeded to shotgun beers the media was kicked out until next weeks post game coverage. [IMG]

    Browns Break Out The Checkbook
    [IMG]
    Cleveland got on the resigning wagon in week 1 and got everyone they wanted: Josh Gordon, Justin Blackmon, Ben Tate, Mitchell Schwartz, Eric Martin, Buster Skrine, and John Hughes. Blackmon made it clear he understood he is a #2 and is apparently happy with the situation as he was more than willing to take less money for the sake of winning. Ben Tate got the contract he deserved, and Gordon got the contract a talent like him deserves. The coaching staff had to make some decisions after those three, but they ultimately had a reason for every signing which we will cover now.

    Josh Gordon, WR (94 OVR) - 4 Years, 9M Salary, 3M Bonus :: 48 Million total value
    Pretty simple stuff here, the coaching staff knew they were going to have to pay this guy and were prepared. Word is negotiations have been going since practice began. "This was an easy decision, Josh is our #1 receiving threat," stated Coach Kasper.

    Justin Blackmon, WR (88 OVR) - 4 years, 3.1M Salary, 1.4M Bonus :: 18 Million total value
    As we mentioned in the opening, it's clear Blackmon is out to win more than he is to get paid. He likely could have asked for big money and had a chance at it in free agency (and likely got it), but Cleveland Coaches were relieved when they received word of this deal. "It's a testament to the type of guy Justin is- he is all about the team and winning," noted Kasp.

    Tashaun Gipson, FS (87 OVR) - 4 years, 3.5M Salary, 1.5M Bonus :: 20 Million total value
    With talks breaking down last season and the Brown's being forced to Franchise Tag Gipson (which ultimately led to Jordan Cameron leaving Cleveland), the organization was determined for that to not be a waste and get a deal done with Tashaun. There was some negotiating, but the deal got done. "Tashaun was our most improved player last season by far, and I was disappointed we didn't get a deal done. Fortunately, we got it done quickly and he will be taken care of," said Kasp.

    Ben Tate, HB (81 OVR) - 4 years, 2M Salary, 650K Bonus :: 10.6 Million total value
    The rock to the Cleveland offense, Tate got what he was due here. The bruising back showed he is durable enough to warrant a big deal, avoiding injury all of last season and racking up 1,400 yards and 14 TDs in the 2014 regular season. "Tate is the guy that keeps us going, plain and simple," stated Kasper.

    Mitchell Schwartz, RT (78 OVR) - 4 years, 2.5M Salary, 800K Bonus :: 13.2 Million total value
    Coaches weren't sure if they want to keep Mitchell around or look for new help here, but ultimately decided that it would be smart to try to retain a Super Bowl winning offensive line. "It really came down to not wanting to break up something that works so well," proclaimed Kasper.

    John Hughes, RE (77 OVR) - 3 years, 1.2M Salary, 500K Bonus :: 5.1 Million total value
    Hughes is currently a backup, but this could be a heads up of current starting RE Desmond Bryant (80 OVR, 29 Y/O) being on the move. "John just isn't a talent we want to lose at this time. We figured it was a good price to pay for the quality of player he is," noted Kasp.

    Buster Skrine, CB (75 OVR) - 1 year, 750K Salary, 250K Bonus :: 1 Million total value
    Skrine has been absolutely outstanding in the slot. The speedster took a pick to the house in the Super Bowl last year, and was ultimately the games MVP. It is pretty clear he has big aspirations since he only signed a 1 year deal. "You can only keep a player of Buster's talent in the nickel for so long- guys are bound to grow and go on to bigger and better things. For now, we are ecstatic to have him," stated Kasper proudly.

    Eric Martin, LOLB (69 OVR) - 2 years, 700K Salary, 0 Bonus :: 1.4M total value
    Coach Kasper is well known as a Husker Homer, and Martin is an example of it. Martin did record a sack last season however! "I just love me some Huskers," said Kasper, who was drunk at this point in our coverage.

    Cleveland And Denver Go To War

    Cleveland edged the Broncos 24-17 in a close battle at Mile High. Johnny Football threw an early pick but bounced back with a great game finishing 20-24 with a TD and 214 yards. Ben Tate had 98 yards on 20 carries, and Rex Burkhead notched his first touchdown as a Brown from a couple yards out. Karlos Dansby caught the one touchdown pass from Manziel on a beautifully executed block and go. Blackmon and Gordon combined for 8 catches for a little over 100 yards, both grabbing 4 for about 50 a piece. Justin Gilbert led the defensive charge by snagging an interception in the endzone on a deep throw attempt by Manning. Manning finished the game with 189 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT.

    Highlight of the game: 33 year old MLB Karlos Dansby catches his first NFL touchdown!

    Packers Runs Raiders Out of Green Bay
    After last weeks tough loss to the Chiefs, Aaron Rodgers told his fans to relax. After this week, Packers fans can do just that. The matchup started off slow enough with the Raiders scoring the only 3 points of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Eddie Lacy scored on runs of 1 yard and squeezed out a 95 yard run with 4 seconds left to go in the half. Free agent pick up Kendall Hunter, who will see a lot of carries this season, also had a 65 yard run taken in for a score. Oakland's only touchdown came in the second when Case Keenum hit a receiver in stride and then fumbled it. Oakland then recovered the fumble in the endzone for a touchdown. Raiders wouldn't be able to find the endzone again. The Packers only allowed 38 yards rushing while being able to rush for 359 yards all together. Final - 35 - 10 [IMG]
    [IMG]
    [IMG]

    Rushing stats:
    Oakland:
    Jones-Drew - 10 carries, 27 yards
    Daniel Thomas - 3 carries, 11 yards

    Green Bay:
    Lacy - 18 carries, 235 yards, 3 touchdowns

    Hunter - 10 carries, 116 yards, 1 touchdown

    Eagles edged out in epic defensive battle

    Philly's first game under new head coach Governedspy saw them run the Saints very close in New Orleans as they went down 7-3.

    Both qbs were sacked 5 times each as both o-lines struggled to stop pressure, and despite some great coverage by the Eagles and 3 interceptions, they couldn't take advantage.

    Philly had a chance to snatch victory but an incomplete pass saw them struggle to spike the ball with no time outs left. They then had 4 seconds at a Hail Mary but Foles was again sacked.

    Was a struggle all day with the ball for the eagles, with Foles going 11/22 for 137 yards, somehow no interceptions despite having a few close calls.

    On the ground McCoy had a average day, going 53 yards from 14 attempts. Ertz was the top receiver with 60 yards from 3 receptions.

    Brees was sacked 5 times, spread amongst Wolff, Boykin, Jenkins, Kendricks and Freeney, whilst Groves, Williams and Rolle made the 3 interceptions.

    Great game wkward83

    Give Ted(dy) A Hug

    [IMG]
    Santa Clara - Hey guys there is this team in the west making some huge noise. Well one side of the ball is making some huge noise. The Niners stout defense is back, Quarterbacks can throw for a million yards but they also throw a million and one interceptions. The Niners picked up the 2nd win of the year after another outstanding defensive effort. Up 10-3 in the 3rd and the Vikes driving, the Niners were able to hold them off the board as Jimmie Ward intercepted Teddy's pass. The Vikings found new life in the 4th as they forced a Michael Vick fumble that was jumped on by 4 Vikings. On a 3rd and long the Vikings were able to finally find the end zone. That was the 49ers first TD allowed this year. With 3 and change on the clock the 49ers got the ball back. Carlos Hyde & Kaepernick led them down the field. With a minute left the 49ers tried to get in the end zone but couldn't. They settled for a last second kick.

    "Tough game once again, offense was sporadic at best. Our defense won us this game. We will need to get better offensively because soon our breaks on the defensive side may end. Carlos Hyde with another great 2nd half, Gore couldn't get much going in the 1st so we had to go with Hyde. Huge morale win, the former NFC Champs came out here and we handled ourselves well. We have to keep our head on the ground, 2-0 doesn't equal anything yet. We need to go game by game, our goal is still to win this division and make the playoffs. For now, the fans should be happy with the effort these guys have given the first two weeks. We wish RyanC and the Vikes good luck on the rest of the campaign. No doubt they'll be there in January once again."

    Stats on the PS4, shall post later.

    Eagles coast to win over Panthers

    Relief in Philly as coach Spy got his first win under his belt in a solid display against Carolina, running out 30-7 victors and go 1-1 for the season.

    They started well with a solid drive, ending up with a FG. Again their D played lights out, with Freeney running in a pick 6 and Foles finding Ertz open to lead 17-0 at half time.

    Carolina pulled to 17-7 but Philly never looked in danger, dominating possession and a McCoy rushing TD killed the game. To add to the Panthers woes, Super Cam was sacked 5 times, the Eagles now have 10 sacks already this season.

    The only blemish was a Foles interception looking for Ertz on a play action score but it ended up unpunished. Eagles now move onto the Redskins and will hope to stay on the Cowboys back leading into their week 6 showdown.

    Freeney 1 sack, 1 td

    At the beginning of the year the bills traded for star wide out Ty Hilton [IMG]

    His reactions to being to traded to newly assembled fraternity SEX (sigma epsilon chi) aka Buffalo Bills was priceless. When reporters asked ty what he thought he whipped a Keystone out of his bag and shotgunned it. Im glad to be apart of a change in the organization. We might be a year away but idc the group of guys plus the uber smooth coach stone is the place I wanna be. This why I want to make it offical here first I will be accepting a 4 year 16 million dollar deal with a 4 million dollar signing bonus. I cant wait to join the rest of the team on their weekly team building game bangs. I cant wait to provide SEX with some fun!

    49ers Undefeated No Mo

    The 49ers ran into a hot offense, the Detroit defense ran into a horrid offense. The end result was what you would expect, a 35-7 loss. The 49ers did everything right the first 2 weeks, they did nothing right today. They caught all the lucky breaks the first 2 weeks, but today their lucky stars disappeared. Detroit came out firing out to a 7-0 lead. The Niners offense played the part of that of an offense that was about to be in a shootout as they tied it up at 7 in their next possession. After that it was all Detroit. The defense couldn't stop the Lions passing attack. The offense couldn't move the ball. For some weird reason, they abandoned the run after going down 7-0.

    "Tough game, we can blame the early morning start but hell we scheduled it. Our team was asleep that first half and they never woke up. We ran into a powerful offense. Good to get this 1st loss out of the way now, we will regroup and come back stronger next week. Fo sho."

    Browns Get After It, Whoop Jets 24-0

    Cleveland took it to the CPU Jets this week, beating them down 24-0 while holding New York to 145 yards of total offense; Cleveland racked up 368 on the day. Manziel was a solid 18-30 for 201 yards and a TD to Blackmon, while Gordon paced the receivers with 8 catches for 95 yards. Ben Tate rumbled to a couple scores while gaining 105 yards on 18 attempts on the afternoon.

    Mingo had a sack, Kruger had a sack, and Rubin put up a couple sacks while we wrecked the first two QB's on the Jets roster. Tajh Boyd had to come in and finish the game once Geno and Matt Flynn went down.
