In a short span of time Coach Herring left the Jags and took a job with the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins coming off a 2-14 season are looking to rebuild and become a contender in the AFC East in the future. After joining the Dolphins Herring began personally scouting the top upcoming recruit in the draft. On a personal trip to Syracuse he came across Joshua Lucas. Lucas was the starting QB of the Orange. Herring saw the raw athleticism Lucas possessed. And speed my friends is something you just can't teach.(unless you are playing madden) Lucas is being hailed as the best running QB coming out of college since Micheal Vick. He has great vision when running with the ball and once he gets in open space he is a hard man to catch. Opposed to Vick though Lucas is a polished passing prospect as well. He has a solid arm and is accurate throwing to all levels of the field. Coach Herring is putting all his eggs on the legs of Josh Lucas. The question is will he rise to the challenge or will he fall under the pressure of revitalizing an entire franchise?
