BRADY SPOILS COACH WEBLINK RAVENS DEBUT.

In the first game as Head Coach of the Ravens and the last for some of the Ravens players this one ended on sour note for both parties. First Quarter action, Patriots would receive the ball after stopping the Ravens on their first possession. Brady would drop back to throw when he is hit on a corner blitz that would cause the ball to hang in the air into the awaiting arms of Maroney who would scamper 44 yards for the score. Ravens would strike back as a screen pass would get them in scoring range for a McCain 1 yard TD run. After that it was all Brady as he would connect with Moss from 40 yards out and then B.Watson on a 1 play 56 yard catch and run. F.Taylor would add one more Patriots score before the half but the Ravens would close the half with a 74 TD pass to Clayton.

Second half, Ravens came out the locker with high hopes only down by 2 scores and all they would have to do was stop the Patriots on the opening drive. Brady had other plans as he would lead them down the field to finish off the drive with a Moss 5 yard TD grab in a crowd of 3 Raven players to put them up 35-14. Defense would be the story of the second half as well, something the Patriots put a high emphasis on in wanting to close out teams in the 4th quarter. Close out is what they did as they shut out the Ravens offense in the 2nd half to close out the game.

Brady again showed why he is the Best QB in the OMFL connecting with 9 different receivers while Moss is making noise in the Top WR category. The defense is young and starting to gel as the time together and practices are starting to pay off. Patriots head out to Denver next week to face the Broncos who are looking to bounce back from the lost to the Cowboys and the Ravens host the Bengals.
