It was evident from the beginning that Ray Rice was not going to let the Ravens lose two straight games. After Mike Wallace took the opening kickoff 104 yards for the score, Ray Rice took the 1st offensive snap of the game 75 yard blast play for the score. Allen then got into the scoring mood by taking a draw on 3rd down 35 yards for a touchdown. The Ravens exploited the over pursuit of the Giants LB's by mixing in a bevy of draws and counters as well as a reverse and several misdirections throughout the game.

After the Giants cut the lead to 17-14, Jacoby Jones took the KO 106 yards for the score to take a 24-14 lead into the half. The play that shaped the game was a 3/1 on the opening drive of the second half, with a FB dive called, Flacco noticed the giants stacked the middle. He calmly audibled to a power and watched Ray Rice take the handoff 57 yards for the score and a commanding 31-14 lead. Flacco only threw the ball 13 times but it was his ability to audible that made the difference. Ray Rice added 297 yards on the ground, while Allen had 51 yards on 10 carries..

The Ravens defense was up for the challenge as well, holding the Giants to 1-9 on 3rd down and only 158 yards of offense. Sacking Manning 2 times and forcing 4 interception on 9-30 passing.
