Lardarius Webb came up with a key INT with 1:20 remaining to set up a winning TD for the Ravens
Week 2 of the regular season saw the Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals in the first AFC North division game for the Ravens and the second straight for Cincy. Just like in the first played season the conditions were rough in Baltimore with strong cross winds and a steady downpour mother nature wanted to make this a classic AFC North dog fight! The Bengals defense managed to keep the Ravens in check allowing only a FG through the first 3 quarters and RB Giovani Bernard found the endzone to give the Bengals a 7-3 lead that appeared to be all they would need to pull out a victory. With the offense struggling to move the ball against a stingy Cincy defense the Ravens had to turn to their defense to pull out a miracle of a win. Lardarius Webb and Rashad Johnson accounted for all 4 Ravens INTs, the biggest coming from Webb on a drive that could have sealed the game for Cincinnati. Following the late INT Bernard Pierce would find the endzone and after a successful 2pt conversion the Ravens took a 14-7 lead with only 1 min left in the game and the defense would seal the deal with Johnson's second INT of the game.
Great Game AveryB always a good matchup. Good luck moving forward (at least until we meet in Cincy for round 2 lol)
