Jacoby Jones only had one catch but it was a huge 99 yd TD reception that lead Baltimore to a victory.
The Ravens were on the road in Week 3 to face The Cleveland Browns. This was Baltimore's third straight game against AFC North division foes and after an embarrassing performance in week 2 against the Steelers the Ravens needed to prove that they are a better team than last year's 8-8 squad. The Browns on the other hand came into this match-up in a must win situation or risk starting the season 0-3. Baltimore continues to struggle running the ball as the Browns defense held RB Bernard Pierce to only 70 yds on 25 carries. The Browns defense managed to keep the Ravens offense quiet until midway through the 2nd, after a very nice punt to pin the Ravens at the 1 yard line QB Joe Flacco managed to thread the needle and complete a pass to WR Jacoby Jones who took the ball coast to coast for a 99 yd score. The Ravens still continue to struggle in the redzone this season as both of the team's turnovers came from inside the 20. As for the Browns it seems as if Rookie QB Johnny Manziel is still having trouble adjusting to the NFL as the Ravens defense came up with 4 INTs in the game taking JFF's INT total to 11 on the year but it was not all bad news for Johnny Football as he was able to find WR Andrew Hawkins in the final seconds of the game to prevent suffering a shutout. The Ravens improved to 2-1 and head back home to host the Panthers in week 4, as for Cleveland they head into a week 4 bye and can use the extra week of practice to help turn around after an 0-3 start.
