Balitmore a week after firing its coaching staff responds for coach Mims in traditional fashion, going into Denver and winning 35-28. It was evident early that they would rely on Ray Rice and the running game, converting on the first 6 3rd down opportunities. Baltimore jumped out to a 14-0 lead after Rookie sensation Darrien Reagan fumbled his 1st of 2 fumbles inside the 20.

The key coming into this game was going to be turnovers and the running game. Baltimore held Denver in check only allowing 45 yards on 13 carries for Reagan, however having to switch their defensive coverage to a spy in the 2nd half as Osweiler was running up chunks of yardage at a time (7-49). Osweiler also had 370 yards in the air, with 230 of that coming after they were down 28-7 in the 3rd quarter.

Baltimores offensive line allowed no sacks and only 1 hit qb during the game. While their defense forced 4 turnovers (2 for TD) and 2 sacks. Joe Flacco threw for only 177 yards and no td but was efficient on 11-17 passing. Ray Rice had 3 tds on 23 carreis for 87 yards, as Anthony Allen and Rookie Brandon Hanks had 26 yards on 5 more carries in spell time.
