OK fellas, before we kick this thing off, I want everyone to look at the LEAGUE DESCRIPTION and see the new rules we put in place. Then, come back here and sign off, so we know you understand. I'm not going to let ignorance be an excuse, so I am attaching a penalty to those who do not sign. Post here by the end of week one, or your first game's results get thrown out, and you take a sim. Please don't make me enforce this.

AG, two things before I sign.

    1) Are we still able to "sway" players to stay? If not, I'm not sure it's as clear as it could be in the L.D. thread. It just basically says that we don't whine about it. ;)

    2) In a prior discussion, VT brought up "cheese moves" that might not came straight to mind. One that stood out was the playbook change at bowlin' time. Has this been decided? I was going to propose that playbook changes should be within the same style. For instance, a coach swingin' a spread offense can switch to another. It's very unlikely that a team running a spread offense would switch to pro (and implement it well) for a bowl game. Something to discuss at a later time?

1 - No. We don't sway. I can make that clearer in the rules.

2 - I should add a playbook change rule description. I think a new book, in the same style, is OK at bowl time. Teams do that.

one quick recruiting question, I understand that we can sign up to 75 and can cut down to 68. Do we HAVE to finish with 68 or fewer on the roster or can we keep 70 as the system lets you?

And we can't cut below 68, correct?

You are not required to cut to 68. You may stay at 70, or cut to 69 ... whatever you want. Some guys might want to free up a scholarship for the next season. Others might want to keep that 4th tight end. It's up to you.

But 68 is the floor. You can't cut under that. You may end up with fewer than 68 after recruiting is over, but if you're there or under, you can't cut anyone.
