That was a great game by Sparty. I was getting worried when we got cold in the 2nd but I'm so stoked that we pulled it out!

And Darkwing, I really loved Sullinger's triple double. :doodie:

Arizona has a good chance of a Conference Crown. We've shown we can compete with the big boys of a weak Pac-12 with wins at California who hadn't lost at home, and then beat Stanford. But we've had 3 conference losses by 2 points or less. Our UCLA loss was just atrocious play. We're young, have the number 1 recruiting class according to ESPNU, and I'm STOKED for March Madness :)

Haha funny to see you refer to MSU as we.

Payne did that to Sullinger last year, so I'm not surprised by his performance in this game. I feel like teams continue to underestimate MSU because outside of Green we don't have any big names, but this team plays the best TEAM basketball since the Cleaves years.

20-6 Cal is pretty good i'd say. Arizona is 18-8 which is not too bad. Michigan St is only 21-5. :p

No offense because i love Michigan St, but doesn't everyone in every sport underestimate your Spartans?

Being 20-6 in the Pac-12 is COMPLETELY different than being 20-6 in the Big 10. The Big 10 is going to get at a minimum 8 teams into the tournament with a possibility of a 9th, while the Pac-12 will be lucky to get 3. MSU is actually 20-5, with two of those losses coming in the first two games of the season against North Carolina (on the carrier) and Duke (at Madison Square Garden).

Yeah i completely understand =/ Like i said. Big boys of the weak Pac-12. That's like a Nebraska or Northwestern to your Spartans

I appreciate him don't get me wrong, but I'm so fucking tried of Sully playing below the rim. Get some fucking athleticism for Christ sake.

    Great win for Sparty

Man, I have to give it up to Sparty. Can't just bet against Izzo in a big game -- amazing coach.

Edit: Just realized this was in a league and not the basketball forum. My bad.

IMO, MSU is never underestimated. Izzo always puts together a great squad and Sparty is never an easy out.

As always, I was born and raised a Michigan fan and I went to MSU so my 2nd favorite team is MSU. I even had season tickets in the student section (the one in the top of the Breslin, not in the Izzone) for out national championship season in 2000.

Just so I can avoid the beat down later tonight, I'm not expecting a Wisconsin victory tonight.

Not MSU players accused of rape

Barlow got kicked out of a bar, they still had his credit card because of his open tab. He wanted to go back in to get it, and when he tried to walk back in, the bouncers tackled him. That prompted Byrd to go after the bouncers right as a state trooper drove by. Stupid, but typical for college kids who've been drinking. Gotta know when to draw the line, especially when you are a student-athlete and are held to a higher standard.
