Tough loss to Michigan State in triple overtime, did enough to win just couldnt pull out the victory, two big plays kill the Terps a 97 yard KR for a TD and a 40 yard Bomb TD with :00 left in the 1st half.
True Freshman WR Stefon Diggs 6 catches 106 yds and 3 TD's
    QB CJ Brown had 5 TD's and 0 INT's

Despite outgaining The Irish 381 yds to 303 yds Maryland just couldnt figure out a way to score points, The Terps and QB CJ Brown would have 2 costly INT's in the RedZone both in the 4th quarter which ultimately led to the loss. The Terps showed great mental toughness and fought back from a 21-0 deficit to make a game of it but just couldnt seem to get with in striking distance.
QB CJ Brown would throw for 313 yds 2 TD's and 2 INT's
WR Stefon Diggs would have 8 catches for 123 yds.

It was a defensive battle early as both teams had trouble moving the ball, then the key moment of the game happened. With Maryland up 7-0 they would block a punt in the endzone for a safety then would eventually drive the ensuing kick down the field and score a TD to go up 16-0 at the half. @ TD's to start the 2nd half would put this game on ice and give the Terps there 1st win of the season in there home opener.
WR Stefon Diggs 5 catches 157 yds and 2 TD's
HB Wes Brown would have 107 yds rushing

The Terps would head back out on the road for a tough rivalry game against #23 West Virginia, Maryland's offense would bring there A game as they would gash the Mountaineers for 501 yds of total offense. The Terps were able to score 31 straight points from middle of the 2nd quarter till the end of the 3rd quarter to blow this game wide open. The only dark spot in the game from QB CJ Brown who despite throwing for 303 yds would throw 3 INT's. Maryland back to .500 at 2-2.
WR Stefon Diggs 6 catches 149 yds and 1 TD
HB Wes Brown 18 carries 94 yds and 3 TD's
