    2010-11 Texas Recruits

    Week 1

    6'4" 224 lbs #6 TE # 69 OVR
    :4stars: Brenham, TX
    Harold Torres: B SPD, B+ CTH, C+ CIT, B- RTE, B BTK

--Torres is a straight up pass catching tight end.

    6'1" 224 lbs #3 OLB # 85 OVR
    :4stars: Levelland, TX
    Damien Bradley: B SPD, A+ ACC, B+ TKL, C+ PRC, B+ PUR

--Bradley is small for his position but he makes up for that with top level athleticism and skills.

    5'11" 244 lbs #6 OLB # 103 OVR
    :4stars: Rosenberg, TX
    Calvin Rose: B- SPD, B+ ACC, C+ TKL, C+ PRC, B HPW

--Rose isn't all that special but with all our MLB's graduating he will look to get some solid playing time.

    Week 7

    5'11'' 174 lbs #2 CB # 14 OVR
    :5stars: WEST ODESSA, TX
Donald Day: A+ SPD, A ACC, B+ MCV, ZCV, PRS, PRC

--Day was originally soft commited to LSU but couldn't resist the draw of playing close to home. Day will see the field immediately as either a nickel back or number 2 corner depending on which players stay for their senior years.

    5'9" 169 lbs #6 CB # 190 OVR
    :4stars: PEARLAND, TX
    Kris Taylor: A SPD, B+ ACC, B- MCV, B+ ZCV, B- PRS

--We got Taylor in a close battle with Georgia and Nebraska. In the end he decided to come to Texas and play in our dime packages.

    Week 8

    6'2" 271 lbs #1 CB # 18 OVR
    :5stars: ARKANSAS PASS, TX
    : C SPD, B- PBK, B- RBK, C+ IBL, B- STR

Jesse Nichols--Always a good idea to add some depth to the line play, and this kid will be good enough to start one day.

    5'11" 198 lbs #2 WR # 25 OVR
    :5stars: SAN ANGELO, TX
    : B SPD, A- ACC, B- CTH, B- CIT, C RTE

Antoine Anderson--We have tons of young talent at the position which will give this kid the time to develop some more athletic ability to get with the most consistent pass catching skills in the class.

    LSU Commitments

    Through week 2

Position PS# Name Caliber Ht Wt Comments
    QB 3 Kyle Hagan :5stars: 6'6'' 225 BEAST - B+ speed/accel/THP, A acceleration, A+ elusiveness, B THA. Watch out SEC.
SS 1 Grant Glenn :5stars: 6'2'' 186 More of an in the box SS. Doesn't have elite speed, but has really good acceleration and coverage skills (B+ accel/man & zone cov), and he hits like a truck (A- hit power).
MLB 12 Brandon Vogel :4stars: 6'0'' 233 Very quick for a LB (B+ speed), and well rounded (C+ or higher in all significant LB categories).

No I saw it. But I also know that every squirrel gets a nut every once and a while. And this nut (Oregon's Pass Defense) was passed around like a blonde hair blue eyed Vegas coke whore in their last 4 games.

    Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 4 Column 5
    Player ATT/COMP Yards TD INT
    Terrell Pryor 23/37 266 2 1
    Sean Canfield 24/36 306 2 0
    Nick Foles 30/46 314 4 1
    Andrew Luck 12/20 251 2 0

See that? On this list he's 4th in my book of just these 4 QBs.

I would argue with you, but those numbers are true.

It doesnt help at all that those are all good qb's and Canfield was unreal last year playing his way from a back up bum, to a NFL spot.

and the other guys are are on everyone's list for nfl ready qb's, Foles lights everyone up lol, and Luck is said to be the most nfl ready qb prospect since Manning.

So while those do put pryor down and into his place as a dual threat qb, he has only improved, and the offense was gutted prior to the Rose Bowl to accom. his strengths... So I would expect to see a lot more of those rose bowl type of numbers out of him.

OK, stop hijacking this thread with talk about pryor. Let's get back to talking about how Hagan is going to run roughshod over the SEC for 4 years.

Yep. Texas won't be actively recruiting any quarterbacks the first two years.

Man I am having no luck in recruiting this season. I dont have a home game to schedule visits until week 6 and I've gotten the worthless padlock every single week.

So far Georgia's top recruit is #3 ATH Donnie Clark. He will most likely find a home at WR. He has B+ spd, B- break tackle and the most shocking stat is C run block. He is looking like he can contribute all around

Uncalled for. I'm not blaming the schedule or the fact that the CPU loves Dru. I'm just saying "If you girls want some recruits you better get them fast because Texas is due and when it hits, your board will feel it."

Also the reference really does hurt me Papa.

:5stars: CB Donald Day is still only a soft commit to LSU. I'm nervous about losing him since he has a week 6 visit to Texas scheduled.

LSU picked up 4 commitments, netting 3 of the top 8 FS recruits, including the #1 overall FS and the #2 overall DE. I'll post details later when I can get on the xbox.
