    With the first four weeks in the books recruiting battles are taking shape across the country and some teams are facing challenges from the CPU while others are facing battles from users.

    Here is a round up of battles that are raging for recruits. If you aren't bringing blow, whores and money to the table, you better take your ass to the SWAC.

    First up is Joe Horton from Sanford, Maine. Thats right I said Sanford Maine. He is a 6'1" 185 CB that Iowa State, Texas Tech and Houston are going after. As it stands, Iowa State has a slim lead with Tech in tight in second place. Houston is trailing Tech but is right there. We fully expect this battle to come down to official visits which will probably start this week. Already Iowa State has lined up a visit for week 8. Horton is a true lock down corner that is probably an instant starter at all three programs, and each coach is making the hard sell each week. Right now the smart money is on Texas Tech to land Mr. Horton.

    Next up we have Josh Holt a mega stud athlete from Boca Del Mar Florida that Texas Tech and ISU have both targeted as a must have prospect. Its still really early, but between UCONN, Tech, and potentially Louisville, we see a battle that may go into the offseason. Both Texas Tech and ISU are taking a gamble going after Josh Holt, and the big boys could come calling at any moment.

    Lets go down to Georgia and look into a pretty heated recruiting battle going on for Nick Harris out of Hinesville Georgia. Currently he holds 5 offers from ECU, Purdue, FIU, KY, and WKU. East Carolina has emerged as an early leader but this race looks to be far from over. Visits are about to be set and we should see a favorite emerge from the pack. Coach Khaalis has his work cut out for him because right now East Carolina and Purdue have to be considered the early favorites.

    A four star prospect that has slipped through the cracks is Chris Mathis who Houston and Texas Tech have both jumped on and are currently 3rd and 1st on his list. This looks to be a long, battle that is about to be waged for this 6'3" 266 OT that will need to add some weight but looks like he is very athletic. This one is too close to call.

    Finally Jacob Moore out of Hilsboro, Texas is receiving intense pressure from Houston, Boise and KSU for this major target that both BBJ and Mustang want to help lead their offensive attack. Both KSU and Houston like big targets and this 6'5" 215 lb WR certainly fits the bill. As of now Houston has a slight lead, but I have a feelign this one is going to come down to the visits. My money is on Houston;

    Will update in week 8;
