    Recruiting thought

    Which recruiting class is better?

One school has 8 committed all 2 star recruits

the other has 1 committed, a 5 star recruit

answer is the school with 1 committed

Buffalo has 8 committed and is 59th in nation

Purdue has 1 committed and is 58th in nation

It's funny yet sad at same time.

    interesting.

that said.. I think the true measurement of a better recruiting class will be based on impact. hard to say until a few yrs have passed.

I've recruited a 2* that were 78 OVR and I recruited a 5* that was 77 OVR. The highest 3* I recruited was a MLB 81 OVR. I'd only look at the recruiting class to see how many recruits others have not how the cpu ranks a college.

There are some very solid 2 star recruits for sure. There seem to be FS and or SS gems (73+ rated) at the 2 star level quite often. For program's just getting off the ground, a stud FS or SS can really anchor the DEF and they fill in nicely at CB if your program has an existing senior safety that you need on the field.
