    I wasn't expectating 80's, but 64 is like a walk on...geez

    BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Name Hometown PS Rank HT WT 40 Bench Squat Awr Committed Ovr Rank Stars OVR
    Ray Rowe Columbine, CO HB #21 5'11" 205 4.46 420 342 B OF Week 3 #240 :4stars: 83

He wasn't on my radar until Week 7. I wasn't in his Top 10, but all the other users on his top 10 decdied taht they didn't like him (USC UCLA), so Nebraska scooped him up. He will redshirt this year, and compete for the starting HB spot next year.

I was in the Top 5's of 4 higher rated OLB's, but he was always #1 on my board, and he proved me right by coming in at an 82 overall. He will redshirt this year, but will be starting after Sean Fisher graduates this year. He has speed to cover the speedy TE's of Oregon and UCLA and is has stong has a lineman. He will be a force in the Big 12 for years to come.

    OVERALL STATEMENT ON OUR CLASS

I was very pleased with our class overall. We didn't land a recruit until Week 11, but we needed quantity and we got it. We landed 5 OL and 4 DL lineman out of our 17 scholarships which will allow us to focus on the skill positions for the next two years. We landed Raymond Stephens a WR out of LA, and Ray Rowe (listed above) as our two main skill pickups. Raymond Stephens will add speed to our WR core as right now we have possession receivers and we needed someone to strech the field as Jerry Wright could be injury prone as he is returning from a season ending injury this year. I picked up some added speed for KR's as Nebraska still has not returned a kick or punt for a TD, yet so hopefully our speedy 2 star CB will allow us to break one. We didn't land a 5 star recruit, but we made a haul on the 4 stars which should allow us to return to elite status in the Big 12 next year.

    Biggest Bust
Position PS# Name Caliber Ht Wt 40
    G 14 Darrell Robinson :4stars: 6'4 254 5.08

Comments: Robinson came in as a 74 overall which was a major disappointment, his run block rating also leaves alot to be desired he will have to work very hard during his redshirt year to make an impact on the team in the future..

    Biggest Surprise
Position PS# Name Caliber Ht Wt 40
    CB 17 Chris Brown :4stars: 5'11 188 4.38

Comments: Brown was a player we didnt heavily recruit all season, but he came in as a 81 overall and have good man coverage skills, he will redshirt this season as we are pretty strong at corner but he could see some slot duty next season...

    Favorite Recruit
Position PS# Name Caliber Ht Wt 40
    CB 65 Stephen Simpson :3stars: 5'11'' 178 4.34

Comments: Simpson has speed and cover skills to be an island guy for most of his career... he should step in and start as a redshirt freshman next season as Bowers will more than likely leave early and go pro...

My biggest Disappointment was a 4 star OG that was in the top 3 of my board for most of the season coming in at a 77 OVR, John Galloway. I just had big expectations for him.

My two best recruits were on the OL with Max Keller at OC and Troy Brown at OT, both of which are :5stars:

Hopefully the OL will make a big difference this year because overall they struggled last year.
