Redemption Road: 2010 Michigan Wolverines
**The Road to Redemption coming soon**
Depth Chart Change
Named Starting Tailback
First Depth Chart move of the season... Vincent Smith is now our starting HB... his speed is vital for our spread offense... he has made some big plays in limited action and we will see if he can carry that for the whole game as our rushing attack is being led by a quarterback which is unacceptable.
Looking at those highlights D. Robinson is bustin loose over there.
The game with Drunken inflated the stats. The CPU does a good job versus my option... they only let me break free on one last week but it was supposed to be an option pass. If he didn't get stuck in the option animation he would of scored. But I had to make a HB change, its weird seeing my QB (who's running the option) lead my team in rushing. I think he's had less than 20 carries all year but for like 300 yards (190 in one game on 4 carries). It's funny watching the CPU go into spy mode when he's in... no blitz to worry about
~Press Release Addressing Robinson's rising stardom and what it means for Tate Forcier.
Denard Robinson has suffered a broken collarbone during the Week 4 game vs. Bowling Green. After Robinson scored a rushing TD he recieved a crushing hit. Robinson will be out 12 weeks, ending his season.
Well that sucks. Tate will have to do everything now. He better get his ass to workouts (Teammate: Wolverines may tune out Forcier)
Wow didn't even see that when I posted that message
I was so pissed because it was only like a 2 yard run, a second after I crossed the goalline I was donkey kicked... straight garbage. And I was only letting him work the 3rd quarter and then put in Gardner. He got hurt on the LAST play of the 3rd quarter. Gardner got hurt (for only a play or two) on his first snap and I had to put Forcier back in. Ran ONE option with him and he takes it 85 yards for the TD, so I'm confident that Forcier can succeed in that postion as well so not all is lost. Gardner will be seeing a lot of snaps as well once I get used to him.
~After a 6 interception performance vs. the Hoosiers (L 31-41) Tate Forcier's starting job may be on the line next week versus Michigan State. Another poor performance may allow true freshman Devin Gardner get his chance at leading the offense~
Notes thru Week 9:
Without D.Robinson, Michigan's rushing attack has stalled
Tate Forcier is not the passing threat he should be right now, needs help from WRs
Michigan's secondary is quietly becoming one of the best in the nation
Shaw may regain his starting job back after Smith has been stuffed repeatedly as of late
A brutal 3 game stretch vs. top 25 teams has been key so far. Going 2-0 with only Illinois left. If they get past the Illini, the Wolverines will be a rivalry game win over OSU from a Big 10 title
Michigan vs. Illinois for the Big Ten title!
You know what's crazy?... I'll probably beat Greg and lose to Ben giving aOSU the Big 10 title
