The Redskins came into the game desperate not to fall 0-3 in the division facing the Cowboys for the 2nd time on the season and got an early break intercepting Romo on their first drive by FS Courtney Green. Washington used that momentum to score on their first drive with a touchdown to TE Fred Davis of 22 yards. But Dallas came back on the following drive to even the score on a 16 yard slant to WR Miles Austin. After stalled drives by both teams the Redskins were able to score right before the half on a 5 yard run by HB Roy Helu to make the score 14-7. Washington got the ball to start the 3rd but had to punt. The next 3 possessions ended in turnovers for both teams as the Cowboys HB DeMarco Murray fumbled twice in between a RG3 interception. Washington used the last fumble to produce of FG 34 yards. Dallas couldn't sustain a drive at the beginning of the 4th and had to punt to WR Brandon Banks who broke the game open with a 68 yard punt return to push the league to 24-7. The Redskins would add another FG of 42 yards for the final margin. Good Game Moe and Good Luck the rest of the season.
