The Redskins and Giants battled it out in a big division game both teams needed. The Giants didn't waste anytime moving down the field for their 1st score on HB Wilson's 44 yard touchdown run. Glory would be short lived as WR Banks returned the kickoff 101 yards to tie the game at 7. Still in a groove the Giants scored again on a screen to Bradshaw for 30 yards. New York added a touchdown late in the 2nd quarter on a 14 yard run by Bradshaw. Washington was able to kick a FG to close the half with the score 21-10 Giants. Washington open the 3rd quarter with a long drive that ended with Morgan catching an 18 yard touchdown. But the Giants score on their first play the following drive hitting WR Wallace for an 82 yard score. New York scored on their next two drives with a FG and 41 yard touchdown catch by Wallace making the score 38-17 New York. Then the drama began with a desperate RG3 running for his life end up running 79 yards for the score. After forcing the Giants to go three and out the Redskins quickly drove for another score by RG3 on a QB sneak from the 1 yard line. The Redskins needed another stop and got it when Orakpo intercepted Eli just across midfield. But Washington was forced to put at the 2 minute warning. The Giants came up short in getting a first down and had to punt back to Washington with 57 seconds left. The Redskins used every second as RG3 hit WR Armstrong on a 15 yard pass with no time left to tie the game at 38 and send it into OT. The Redskins won the toss and took the ball down the field and won game on a 39 yard FG. Great Game Juan and good luck the rest of the season!
