    N.Bradham: 10tack 3TFL Defense B.Scott: 6tack 1TFL

Impressions: Alabama is tough! I couldn't get anything going offensively against them. Luckily they used Ingram too much and I was able to get him to fumble twice on punt returns, which set me up in great field position. Running the ball against their front seven was tough (like it should be) and they pressured the hell outta me and I made some errant passes. I should of had better passing numbers but I couldn't pick up their blitz to save my life, they sent the opposite person I suspected everytime. An interception late sealed Bama's fate as I was able to knock off Bama at home.

Possible Tweaks: I'm either going to tweak CPU Pass Defense or Human QB ACC. This is the first game I recorded the stats from. I played maybe 6 games with these sliders last night and got some great games. The worst game was when Ole Miss came to visit San Diego State (me). They were blowing my doors off(24-7 @ halftime) before I had to get some sleep.

Hopefully these sliders can bring someone joy in their offline dynasty because I'm really diggin' these. I'll be posting more game stats later and am willing to lab any suggestions made in this thread.

Thanks for reading (and hopefully trying these)

Going against the Slider Tweakers Code of Conduct I'm going to post this boxscore. Take in account that my starting QB/HB were knocked out this game and I also simmed some drives on defense late. Oh, and I also guessed wrong on a run commit, lol, and got burned.

Impressions: Man, Florida bullied me. Once my starting QB was knocked out of the game my offense stalled. My 4 turnovers didn't help (2 returned for TDs) as Florida gained the momentum and didn't look back. I fumbled the ball at their one yard line and on the next play (guessed wrong with run commit) Demps took it 99 yards for the score.

Slider Tweaks: I actually didn't make any slider tweaks to the ones above. With the way the game played out I think it was realistic. If I would of made those errors in real life Florida would of blown the doors off me.

Impressions: This was a great game. I had this one wrapped up but Florida forced their way back into the game and forced overtime. A nice little post pattern helped me win it. Had to play against Florida with a team that could "keep up" and as you can see Bama kept the speedy Gators under control unlike the Vols did in my previous game.

Slider Tweaks: Bumped Human Pass Rush up to 15 and got 2 sacks this game. It was kind of hard since Florida's offense has so many quick passes but I created enough pressure on Brantley to disrupt him. I like the change.

Two defensive touchdowns helped me win this game and Florida had one as well. The game was good but there was something about them that I wasn't really a fan of.

    And that was???

Edit: Player Threshold. But you see it wasn't that much a factor as some will label it as. Probably won't win you over Maize but at least you tried them out. Thanks.

    PS-Those stats look good:)

just one man's opinion, but any sliders that turn the speed threshold down are suspect. you're basically take the big thing about this years game (speed not being everything ratings being king) and turning it off. might as well play NCAA 10 IMO.

You haven't even tried them out but yet label them suspect? Constructive criticism would be better suited for this conversation, not just openly downing the slider set. Just one man's response

When u say speed is the difference in the game then u want it at 0. Right where u take and change the threshold it states. Raises and lowers the minimum actual in-game speed for players. A low setting will create the greatest speed difference between the slowest and fastest players in the game: a higher setting will narrow the disparity between slow and fast players. Meaning 0 means biggest difference

My impressions is you can really tell the difference in spped. My hb for the illini Leshoure isnt the fastest guy out there and u could tell because of the fact he was caught from behind quite a bit. On Punt returns when i would return with Fayson one of the quicker Illini he broke off a couple 30 yard returns. I had the game won if my Wideout would of caught the wideopen streak. He had his guy burnt by 5 yards and drop the caught on the 5 yard line with less than 15 seconds left.

Greg, thanks for testing these out. See that's a point I'm trying to make. Speed is a factor but sometimes its for the worse and not always the better. Like in our tourney game I had Martinek (Rutgers HB) running like he was Barry in his prime. That kid is only 89speed and 93acc. The ENTIRE Notre Dame secondary is 90+ speed but none of them were able to catch him from behind. That's odd and very unrealistic. I played Wisconsin as well, all of their starters are 90+ in speed but none were able to bring him down from behind.

I have a lot of "studies" I wanna post but with leagues kicking off I'll just save it for another time. The only way others will see that zero threshold isn't that bad is by playing it themselves.

I'm still going to post all my game stats ( I have a couple more) and am still open to suggestions.

Greg: 8-30? Is there something that needs to be changed or were you making poor reads?

Nah u have to consider my qb is a freshman and his accuracy is junk. Plus had about 6 dropped passes. All but 2 reads were good just he isnt an accurate qb being a freshman

Yeah if your WRs aren't studs it'll be hard to make that frosh look like an AA. Your highest Catch rating on Illini is 74, so 6 drops is kind of realistic. I'll post more stats tomorrow, you should try a team with a better receiving corp and see if the results differ.

yeah which means you're back to the game last year, where you recruit and make all decisions based on speed - not this year where things like agility and acceleration can be just as important.

No acceleration still matters on these settings. I can get to full speed faster with a guy who has acceleration. How would someone who hasnt tried them be able to form an opinion of them? Speed and acceleration makes the difference on these sliders

If your not gonna try these out and give feedback (good or bad) why even post in the thread? Your making assumptions right now Bly. Those things you mention are just as important on these as they are if the threshold was set to 100.

    Thanks G-Unit for attempting these.

my opinions aren't based on fantasy. i played a few games with sliders similar to these while doing some testing for the tradition and my opinions are based on those.

7-7 at haltime. Gave up one big 49yd run to robinson. Had 3 point lead with over minute to play then ran an option to try to get 1st down to seal the victory when iowa got the fumble recover and ran it back for a touch down taking a 4 point leade. 3 passes later hooked up for a 78yd td pass. Held Iowa on 4 straight plays to take a knee and win game

I've played a couple of games with these sliders and am pretty happy with the results. I like the fact that when my runningback makes it to the second level when the safeties blitz, that my RB can now beat the lineman in a race for the endzone. The only thing I might play around with is user INTs...In my two dynasty games, I have had at least 10 drops with various players (LBs and DBs) in which I was going for the user pick without any opponent around me to interrupt the play. I'm not saying that I should pick the ball every time, but I think expecting 2 INTs out of 10 plays in which my defender is the only player around is realistic. Next game I am going to try bumping the user INT up 5 just to see if it makes any difference. In general though, I'm am really having a good time with these sliders. Thanks for posting them.

I've tweaked my sliders a bit after looking at this boxscore but then I realized Wyoming is a C school and Iowa is only a B(?)... an upset in that scenario is possible. I couldn't run for ish as well but had a great day through the air. I lost my game though as Mizzou closed me out 36-16.
