Extremely interested, just not with the Giants.

I do think we should figure out:

    1) How many teams should be able to locate.
    2) If teams should locate internationally.

I'm extremely interested in it being available, but there need to be restrictions on who and where they move. IIRC from a video I watched, I think there were 3 settings for relocation; normal, everyone/anytime, and off. I believe the normal rules required a team's current stadium to be rated under 20 to be able to relocate. I'm not sure that's good enough because you can just neglect the stadium if you want to move. Maybe we should just require a >50% league vote for approval? Simple enough to do and gives the league the ability to stop any dumb changes like moving the Cowboys to Ireland.

I honestly could care less. I think certain teams should stay where they are but the struggling teams should have the option to move such as Jacksonville or Oakland.

I dont want to leave, I just think it should be an option for other people. I would never move the Saints out of New Orleans.

ah got it. I thought the poll meaning do you want to move your own team.

I think it should be an option for teams who realistically may one day (Jags, Raiders, Vikings).

    I voted 7

While I don't mind having the Bengals, I hate playing teams with similar color scheme. So some new digs would be nice, plus fuck the Cincinnati P.D. :finger:

    Ok , my 0.02 $

I think leaving the country should be off the table, I know there has been some games played over seas but to move an entire franchise permanently seems way out line in regards to SIM.

I think teams that are struggling should be able to apply to some sort of committee , that committee then decides if it makes sense to allow a team to move. From there I think it should be a league wide vote of owners to approve.

This is a tad off topic, but should we also have some type of rule in place for building new stadiums ? My concern here is 4 seasons in are we going to have 26 new stadiums ? Will half of them be identical ? We will have some turnover, bound to happen. Would suck for new owner to have to play in a new stadium he may not like because somebody up and got all Kaspery on us.

Good points. Perhaps the trade committee takes on a wider role this season to include that of teams looking to relocate.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assumed this poll was made to gauge interest for general leave movement, rather than how interested you are in interested in moving your specific team.

Like I said, I'd never move the Giants (though I'm considering kicking out my little brother OMlawdog and renaming it Giants Stadium). I do think it'd be interesting to see some movement though, just not too much.

I voted 1 because I will not be relocating the Redskins. However, I think it is a cool concept.

I assumed the same, that it was a general topic and not team specific...

I read to mean "relocating my team". I'm still not that interested in playing the Houston Bears or London Lions tbh.

That was my understanding of the thread and was how I voted. I may end up with the Raiders and voted 10, but I'm not sure I'd actually want to move them.

I agree with this too. There's 10 stadiums but only 5 different stadium styles. It would suck to have a lot of duplicate stadiums.

Why would there be a poll about individual intentions with teams? Especially since that could change in 5 seasons. The question only makes sense in the context of finding out if we want to include team relocation as a feature in TMFL.

So Shaun would know how many people would actually be interested in moving their own team...
