    Juventus 1 - 0 Aberdeen

First half was controlled by Juventus, during the second half Aberdeen started to have some more chances and they actually failed to score in 1 or 2 occasions. One of them was in the last minute, where they had the ball during a counter attack but for our luck they werent able to score the late goal.

Shock win for Scottish side Aberdeen as they overcome the might of Liverpool at Pittodrie. It was a case of good defending and luck which got them through this one for a huge 3 points.
Alex should have put them ahead when he was 1 on 1, only for Reina to save the shot and then Gordon saved well to deny Leiva. Right on half time, Dindane burst through to toe poke straight at Reina and then Gordon denied a tame Gerrard effort for Liverpool.
The goal then came when McGinn played in Hayes and he stabbed it past Reina to the delight of the dons support. Alex missed a chance for the second when he shot straight at Reina, and Hayes should have finished the game but again he shot straight into Reina's hands.
With a minute to go, Thiago somehow didnt score when Reina managed to get a hand to his goalbound effort. Aberdeen then were fortunate when Gallas had the ball, i suffered button lag he lost possession and had no choice but to hack down sturridge outside the box. Thankfully for Aberdeen the free kick went wide and they could celebrate a famous win.

A very odd game. Sigurdsson scored a weird goal in the 15' where Pyatov didn't even move, it nearly hit him, but luckily for Spurs, it didn't and went in. Lloris earned another MotM honor making 12 saves and keeping Shahktar off the board. Sigurdsson scored another in the 69' to give a cushion.

Here is the first goal which changed the game. It was one of Tottenham's two shots in the first half and Shakhtar had 12 but Lloris was huge and Shakhtar gets this from their keeper in return.....

Yeah, sux that has happened to me before. I like it though, keepers in real life have nightmares like that from time to time.

Well it's one thing if he kicked saved it and it deflected in or if it snuck between his legs but just watching it sail passed his leg when he could see it the whole way is frustrating especially hen I had dominated up to that point and the other gk was keeping me out

I'm gonna be furious when Lloris does that, but I know it's coming, because it's such a fantastically programmed game. </sarcasm>

An extremely tight game on Merseyside here. Gerrard put Liverpool up 1-0 with a near-post laser past Friedel. Torres levelled just before halftime from a near-post cross from Sigurdsson after a corner kick. In the 2nd half both teams were trying for the go-ahead goal, but it could not be found until Vertonghen scored on a lofted header from a Holtby corner kick.

    Great game, eheskey11!

I'd like to cut the heads off of all my opponents players. hahahaha. Really though, I probably concede about 70% of my goals to headers. Sheeeeesh!

Well played electric, and it was a good match.
