Aberdeen were much cooler in the attacking third and created tons of chances. Magennis and Reynolds each finished a corner in the first half. Gerrard got the ball in the second half and turned well and scored. Sturridge nearly danced his way to a liverpool point in the closing minutes.

This was a really even game which was decided by some fantastic keeping by Samir Handanovic. Shakhtar was cut down in the box while trying to shoot in the 23rd and Fernandinho slotted the PK home. Both teams had some good chances for the rest of the game with Tottenham probably having better chances as Shakhtar lacked the final ball but Handanovic was a machine, saving everything. In the 90th, Strootman got too aggressive trying to win the ball back quickly, fouling a guy who cut just before he slid in and getting a yellow. Then moments later, pretty much the same thing for his second yellow in about 20 seconds. Shakhtar passed the free kick into the corner to waste time but Douglas Costa made a man miss giving him loads of space to get into the box before finding right back Darijo Srna on the back post for a point blank header to put the game away. Very unfortunate result for Tottenham as they deserved something but luckily for Shakhtar, Handanovic played much better on Spurs than Pyatov had earlier in the year. GG

Aside from the goals i actually enjoyed this game. Seemed pretty even in the middle of the park. However, my weakness (starting to feel much more like a curse now) got the better of me again.

.....Down the wing, ......cross into the box, .....header, .....goal. Even with tight base-layer shirt like, close defending, I constantly lose the luck of the draw.

Is it a timing thing? What could possibly help me out in these situations. It's an absolute mystery to me.

So yeah, i don't feel as though the final scoreline justified how the game went, but it's results that count. 3 goals from headers, and an AI inflicted penalty where i'm not even sure what caused it to be honest. I don't even think a player went down if i recall correctly. lol

Both teams played with good build up and the occasional counter. Aberdeen was able to hold slightly more possesion and made buffon work a little harder. Buffon had 9 saves while Gordon had 6. Both teams had some sure goals but good keeper play and poor finishing dictated this game. Juve's Pizarro missed a wide open header and Aberdeen's hayes booted the ball right at buffon from point blank. Other than that here are the most dangerous chances of the game.

I jostle my backside off, but unless you get into the right position right off the hop, there seems to be no way around it. It's as if the game locks into position like some sort of radar. lol

But yeah, i'll keep trying. Once i learn how to deal with that crap, I feel it will add to my results in a massive way.

jostling does work, you just have to know where you need to be and where you need to push them. I don't allow a lot of header goals. But yeah, once you figure that out, it'll help a lot

Arsenal defeated English rivals Liverpool in their return match 3-0 paced by some slick midfield play and a well organized defensive display. The Gunners got on the board early when Spanish talisman Santi Cazorla turned well in front of the Liverpool defense and slipped a ball into the corner for an simple finish. Gervinho doubled Arsenals lead before the half, running onto an early cross from January signing JuanFran and finishing into an open net with a cheeky backheel. Liverpool fought back after the half but struggled in midfield as Arsenal closed out the game with a distance strike from Gorkan Inler to make it 3-nil. GG eheskey11

Dortmund come in and as they make up all these postponed matches, seem to be getting the results they need. Early in the match, Błasczcykowski sent in a driven cross that central defender Bonucci attempted to control instead of clear. Mario Gotze quickly moved to the poorly trapped ball and put his squad up one early. On a beautiful pass, Vučinić found himself one on one with Weidenfeller, only to have the in form keeper thwart an equalizer only minutes later. Buffon was doing his best and showed his Athleticism and acrobatic ability on Lewo's first attempt toward goal. Dortmund were clearly moving more and finding space in the final third and the box, and looked especially dangerous after Juventus was up for a corner. Reus made a beautiful run down his flank and sent a cross in to Lewo who put it home to go up two. Barzagli then had a weak foul on Mats Hummels in the box after a corner, Hummels went flailing to the ground and the ref fell for the act, awarded a penalty that Lewo chipped in. Juventus had their best chance on a 42' corner, Bonucci put his headed attempt on goal and Weidenfeller just got a fingertip to it and deflected it onto the bar and right to the feet of Neymar. Neymar wished to do better as he hit it right at Weidenfeller. Just before half, Błasczcykowski was sent in by Gündogan to the end line, he hit a low cross that came right to the feet of Lewo who calmly chipped his shot into the goal, avoiding any defenders in the way. Juventus seemed rattled by the dedicated Signal Igunda Park faithful. Gg ConiglioSG, just seemed like one of those games for you, every bounce went my way.

Great game here, Dortmund used speed and effort to move past a powerful and crisp Liverpool squad to seal three points. Early on, Glen Johnson had a dangerous cross parried at the last minute by a diving Weidenfeller. The first goal came when Błasczcykowski stole a poor touch by Ogbonna and led Reus across the mouth of goal for a quick one. Lewo nearly got himself on the score sheet with a corner kick in the 35th minute but Pepe Reina came to play in this match, saving the attempt, barely. Błasczcykowski was causing problems all match against Jose Enrique and was constantly playing on the end line looking for a dangerous opportunities, but time and time again Reina was there with a catch or swat to shut the door against the German side. Liverpool equalized on a quick entry pass from Gerrard to Sturridge moments after he entered the match, and after a fake shot the former Chelsea man took a touch and put it past Weidenfeller. In the 77th minute, Błasczcykowski again stepped onto a poor Ogbonna dribble, and touched the ball out of safe reach for Pepe, who should've done better and put it into an open net, from a tough angle to win the match. Gg eheskey11, tough way to lose.

This was a game that certainly tested Spurs' ability to defend. Arsenal had the majority of possesion near the Tottenham penalty box, but had a hard time penetrating for the final move. Fernando Torres scored the difference on a diving header that hit Szczesny but still managed to go past the Polish keeper.
