    RMG Slider Project

I and another member of RMG have been working on new sliders for our league due to everyone in the league getting better on the sticks and the constant push to get better. I have been looking through Jersey's thread and have seen that he is getting some pretty good feed back on his set, so I decided to re-post the set here in the Coach's Office forum in hopes to get the perfect set. I'll post our results so far so guys can see how they have been effected so far.

Special Thanks to SodaAddict, xUGAx Bud Light, AJH, and Outspoknpoet for their help.

Now when testing these sliders out, please follow these rules for best results:

    1. Game-Planning: Leave on normal throughout the course of the game. Only tempo can be set to conservative when you are up by a decent margin.
    2. Commits: Only use the Pass-Commit in obvious passing situations. At no time should you use the Run-Commit.
    3. Utilize Your Playbook: Do not abuse money plays and mix it up a bit with your play-calling.
Please Post your results and comments. I am interested in seeing what others think.

Here is a post from Soda, He is playing as UNC so his D is sic, and GT's Offense is ridiculously easy to stop.

Game was close in the beginning. After Stanford started walking all over my D in the first half I knew that I would have to play more ball control to avoid a shoot-out. But the second half started off in my favor with the opening Kickoff being fumbled and then picked up for a TD and then the very next KO being another fumble and a recovery by me. Good game overall though.

The speed threshold didn't feel right at 40, dropped back to 35.

Yeah I put it back to 35, I honestly liked it better. I also dropped the CPU pass block to 50 due to a severe lack of pass rush.

I was looking over some of the guys sliders over at OS and SECElite has a point on how the Oline's tend to suction-block. Im going to adjust the pass block, pass rush down drastically to see what kind of effect it has, and then drop the QB acc a bit too. This should be a nice experiment.

WOW, my best game so far. I think we have found a winner here guys. That SEC guy from OS was spot on about the suction blocking. These I do believe are going to be the set.

I have the video recorded until after I scored my 35th point, if you'd like to see how stuff was reacting or anything in my game... and to verify that there weren't cheese calls like you said the last time I joined in on the slider discussion.

Are there any types of match-ups in particular that you would like tested? Or are you just looking for even teams?

USC got a really good pass rush and was sniping their receivers. There were a lot of broken tackles.

Offense had a lot of drops. QB was off target constantly. The fumbles were at inopportune times.

I guess it's the kind of final you're looking for, we'll see what happens next game against Bama.

Thoughts - I really liked the way this panned out. Despite the first quarter it was a great defensive battle that was ultimately lost by a last minute fumble. I also dont know how realistic the Boise State 51 yd field goal was lol. Keep in mind im a rushing type of player not a passing so my pass stats may not accurately show the sliders effects.

Just updated the slider set, very minor tweaks, upped cpu rblock. These are near perfect.

Don't take this the wrong way nautica, I am asking out of curiousity (I am looking at new sliders for t3), but in each of the game summaries it seems that neither the CPU or user can avg even 3 ypc. Do your sliders make running impossible or is something else driving the really low rushing figures? I ask because I have a few guys who run triple option or spread option teams and I don't want to remove the ability to run a non pro style offense since variety is the spice of college football.

Thanks, if it would be easier feel free to hit me up on aim, as I'd enjoy the opportunity to discuss this with you.

no, I just suck at running the ball with ND's play book, and that sacks unfortunatly count against your Run YPC. Cierre Wood actually had a 4.25 YPC. Here were the actual running stats though.

    Notre Dame
    Rushing ATT Yards TD Long
    Cierre Wood 12 51 1 15
    Dayne Crist 5 -20 0 1

    Pitt
    Rushing ATT Yards TD Long
    Dion Lewis 22 72 0 22
    Ray Graham 2 25 0 17
    Cameron Saddler 1 -2 0 0
    Tino Sunseri 3 -19 0 0
