    2:17 – BAMA mised FG

    4th Quarter

0:47 – BAMA TD (HB Ingram, 15 yd run) 28-7 BAMA

The Alabama offense went stagnant in the second half, when they tried throwing some more with a decent lead. Aside from receivers being extremely wide open on a handful of plays(9-15, 190 yd, 1 TD), no one could shake the CB's. But passing wasn't necessary for Alabama to get a win here.

    Offensive P.O.G – Mark Ingram (25 carries, 159 yd, 6.3 avg., 2 TD's)
    Defensive P.O.G. - LE Luther Davis ( 4 TKL, 2 TFL, 2.0 Sacks)

2:43 – FSU recovers onside kick
    2:43 – FSU(Ponder) throws INT to Hightower

FSU seemed up to the challenge as they started the game with 2 quick scores, both with a very short field. FSU kept Ingram in check the first quarter by keeping a LB's sole duty to cover him whether it be run or pass. This strategy left some receivers a chance to get open inside. TE Michael Williams was a recipient of this success(5 catches, for 54 yd). Once McElroy got the passing game going, Bama was able to start running once again, focusing on the inside. After what looked to be a long day at first, Ingram began to run and receive well again.(14 rushes for 158 yd and 2 TD, 2 catches for 30 yd and 2 TD) The Bama defense was able to get pressure throughout the game with 4 sacks and 11 TFL's. They were also able to force 4 turnovers(2 INT's and 2 fumbles). This game probably was closer than it should have been due to BAMA turnovers inside their own 20 and the late game no huddle of FSU, but a win is a win. Congrats to a great FSU team that just had some bad breaks.

Offensive Game Ball – Greg McElroy(168.2 rating, 12/19 183 yd, 2 TD and 1 INT) Never could have begun to run without his success in the first half.

Defensive Game Ball – Dre Kirkpatrick(5 tkls, 1 TFL, 1 INT, 1 Forced Fumble, 2 Tds(1 INT and 1 Punt Return)

Florida had Alabama shaking in their boots as the are thonly team thus far to hold Ingram in check early on. “They were up 14-0 and I didn't think there was anything we were going to be able to do to come back,” said Bama coach. Along with the Bama defense, McElroy changed the outlook of the game once again.245.5 rating, 5/11 168yd, 3 TD and 1 INT) Florida never scored another point and only threatened to add a FG which was missed to the right in the second half. Trent Richardson cam into the game after Ingram was hurt and he was able to run with great success.(13 rushes, 59 yd, 4.5 avg., 1 TD) The Bama pass rushing attack(4 sacks) resulted in numerous Brantley INT's.(3, 2 by Kirkpatrick and 2 for Tds) They also forced 4 fumbles, 3 of which were recovered.
Offensive Gameball- QB Greg McElroy-The only thing going early on.

Alabama started slowly again and Ingram was finally held under 100 yds on a full load of work. Ole miss outgained BAMA by almost 100 yards and Brandon Bolden ran all over the BAMA defense.(162 yd) The Tide could be in a world of hurt if they continue to be late starters, especially when they head to Virginia Tech to take on the undefeated Hokies in week in two weeks.

    S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G

    Seriously, WTF?

2 trips to redzone ended in FG's and one drive ended at the 40 with a FG. Talk about missed opportunities. A fumble for a touchdown the other way in LSU territory. Ingram's rushing woes continue- 16 rushes for 30some yards, and the load of the burden goes on the shoulders of McElroy. Over 300 yards and 1 TD. Once again, the defense got torched on the ground. Two weeks removed from being undefeated, Alabama is now fighting for a spot in the SEC Championship game. All other teams have been warned that Bama's coach will not call of the dogs until each team is good and dead

    SEC Championship: Florida(27) vs. Alabama(31)

Yet another defense was able to hold Mark Ingram in check(14 carries for 31 yd and 1 TD), but Florida was not able to stop next year's premier back, #3 Trent Richardson(17 carries for 103 yd) after Ingram was knocked out of the game. Prior to being able to get the run game going, McElroy was not shy about throwing the pigskin around(10/20 212 yd and 3 TD).

The Bama defense was punishing the Gator offense on every tackle, but they gave up 279 yd to the passing game and did not successfully reach the quarterback. Florida lost 1 fumble and threw 2 INT's. Florida probably should have won this game. Bama missed a FG late to go up by a safer 10 points, and the Gators stalled 3 times deep in Bama territory, settling for a FG twice and getting stopped near the goalline on 4th down once.

Defensive Game Ball- ROLB Courtney Upshaw- 5 tkls, 1 INT, 1 FumRec

Offensive Game Ball- RB Trent Richardson- 17, 103 and gives Bama hopes for the future in place of a lame Ingram.
