    New Season Lineup

    Pre Season Press Conference

    With the start of the New Season comes New Changes for the Crimson Tide.. Losing 22 Seniors last year was a major blow to 'Bamas depth chart, particular the star studded defense.

    During the defensive rebuilding year, Coach HackGolfer welcomes back some of the starter aces from last year. The most notable return is in HB Mark Ingram. Ingram, a second place runner up for the Heisman trophy.. Ingram ran the ball 407 times for 1,968 yards and 25 TDs last season, while adding 46 receptions for 638 yards and 4 TDs..

    Another standout offensive return is Junior WR Julio Jones. Joones led the team in total receptions and yards lasst season, pulling in 48 catches for 933 yards and 12 TDs.. Look for him to front the explosive air attack when Ingram isn't churning up yards on the ground.

    On the defensive side, Team Captain and MLB, Rolando McClain decided to skip entering the draft to return for his senior season as a Crimson Tide. McClain wrapped up 92 tackles in the season, 6 of those tackles being for a loss and 4 sacks.. Mclain also added one interception and 2 fumble recoveries..

    Special Teams welcomes in its two newest members, being the first time that both a true freshman Kicker and Punter have been named the starters in many years.. Look for these two guys to grow throughout the season.

    Week #1: Recruiting

    Alabama is looking to sign 14 players this year, having only 11 Seniors graduating and needing to fill the last 3 empty roster spots..

    Team Needs

    Offense:
    * 2- Guards
    * 1- Center

    Defense:
    * 1- Middle Linebacker

    With Week 1, Alabama is proud to welcome the newest Commit to the Crimson Tide family!! :5stars: #2 OLB Joel Nichols has decided to wear the Crimson colors next season. Standing at 5'11" and weighing in at 229 lbs, this big-time run stopper should see a good amount of playing time in his Freshman Season. Look for him to make a quick name for himself in Bama's base 3-4 defensive setup.

    Week #4: Injury Update

    The injury bug has unfortunately made its way to Tuscaloosa this week, as the Crimson Tide has lost their #1 receiver Julio Jones while on the road at Arkansas. The doctor's have assessed that Jones suffered a strained pectoral muscle after coming down with a high pass and will be out for the next 4 weeks.

    Coach HackGolfer reports that although the loss is huge, as Jones was a primary offensive weapon, 'Bama is deep in the wideout position and should be able to make do for the next few weeks as Jones recovers..

    Fans greeted the team bus as it rolled back onto campus, showing their love and support for Julio as he makes his road to recovery.

    Week #8: Update

    Welcome Back Julio!

    The locker room is buzzing about the return of star WR Julio Jones who is making an apperance against Tennessee after missing the last 4 weeks to a pectoral strain in Arkansas..

    Coach HackGolfer reports that the run game has suffered due to the lack of a severe deep threat, so with Julio's return the Tide offense should once again look explosive in both the pass and the run..
