24 - 31 Rookie Devontae "B3" Byler got the start Sunday debuting his talents in the Big Apple. After a rare injury that will sideline Manning for 3 more weeks the Giants had to look next on there depth chart. Lucky for them they have 2 more options. One being in 3rd yr QB Nassib who has never taken an NFL snap before or speedy rookie QB "B3" Byler. In very soggy conditions Sunday coach Bradley leaned toward the rookie QB to get his team back on track after losing the last 2 games. The key today was to take care of the ball and pound the rock. Both teams came out running. Back and forth the first half of this game resulted in each team matching one anothers scores. The Skins drove down the field on there first drive with the creativeness of the RO. Alfred Morris had 50yds on the first drive alone. He would finally punch it in. The GMen came right back with an impressive drive of there own...mainly by a long run by Wilson. B3 would hit Cruz on a short 2yd TD pass to tie the game up. Next 2 drives each team traded FGs, to keep the game tied up. The Giants D would step up and force a Skins punt as it would set them up in great field position. Later that drive B3 hit TE Robinson in the corner of the endzone to go up 17-10. The GMen would get a chance to pad the lead b4 half by forcing a TO but the Skins held the Giants out of FG range. The Giants came out in the 2nd half with a new game plan and it seemed to work. They began to slow down RG3 and force several 3 and outs. 5 sacks to the Giants credit made it clear there was pressure all day. The Skins would still stick around as they didnt give up. But in the end the Giants D was too much as they forced 3 Ints. Gmen would hold on to win a close one 31-24. This improves the Giants to 8-3 on the season and face the 7-4 Cards next week. Key Players: QB Byler - 8/13 123yds, 3tds, 1int (3car, 22yds) HB Wilson - 12car, 157yds, 1td DE Jolly - 4 tackles, 2 sacks HB Morris - 14car, 135yds, 2tds OLB Kerigan - 6 tackles GG HAWK. Always fun.
