Roll the Dice In what looks like one of the best GM moves of the off season _MG_ decided to part ways with arguably the best QB the Bears have had from a talent stand point and bring in 4th round rookie sensation Zach Mettenberger (LSU). He is clearly the favorite for offensive rookie of the year with 14 TD's and only 5 interceptions with a 72% completion percentage. First Round pick for controllerabuser was Aaron Murray (UGA) of the Vikings has put up monster yards but the 7 TDs to 10 picks has to be corrected. Stephen Morris ( DA U) has 8 TDs to 6 picks and has over 1300 yards passing for the Cards, as the 5th overall pick of the draft he is looking solid. Look out for 4th Round pick David Fales (SJSU) of Jacksonville he has a sneaky 109.1 rating and 7 TDs vs 3 picks as he has solidified himself as the starter. Where's the backs? It seemed like a weak RB class , the proof is in the pudding as Silas Redd (USC) of the Ravens leads rookie rushers with a mere 135 yards rushing as we near the midway point. B1G 10 Stand Up Third round selection Philly Brown of the Bengals from THEE Ohio State University leads rookie receivers with 21 snags, right behind him is TE Jacob Pedersen of the Lions (Wisconsin) with 20 receptions. Quincy Enuwa (Nebraska) of the Chiefs has over 300 yards receiving which is second to Brown's 328. Worth the Hype Some draft pundits had his has #1 overall prospect, but he fell to 17. Taylor Lewan (Michigan) of the Baltimore Ravens has 4 pancake blocks in his rookie campaign, the stat has been watered down but its relative. Second Rounder LG David Yankey (Stanford) of the Bears has 4 as well. WHOOOO? Nat Berhe (SDSU) leads all rookies with 38 tackles, he also has a pick and 2 FF for the Arizona Cardinals, he is one of the biggest steals of the draft going in the 4th Round. Detrick Bonner (VT) another rookie FS has 32 tackles and 2 picks on the season for the fighting Sporty's. The Cardinals added another impact safety in 2nd Rd pick Isaiah Lewis (Michigan St.) who has 28 tackles and 3 picks. First round pick ROLB Denicos Allen (Michigan St.) has proved ready for the NFL like his former teammate Lewis. He has 3 sacks 5 TFL and 2 FR for the Seahawks. CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER? Kyle Fuller (VT) has 6 picks to lead the NFL. This player fell into the Bengals and Emmdotfrisk hands in the 1st round as other foolish GM's passed on him for unknown reasons. BUSTED Kain Colter (Northwestern) of the Eagles may not be ready for the bright lights. The #1 Overall pick of the draft has a 49.8 rating and 5 TDs but 14 interceptions. The big winners so far in the 2014 draft look like the Cardinals, Bengals, and Bears. Still a lot of football to play though.
