Polamalu celebrates after his 2nd interception in as many games After much back and forth all preseason between these two owners, this game was circled as one to watch early in the season and was even picked as the Game of the Week. In week 2, the Steelers would travel to Baltimore for their second consecutive division game with a chance to really make a statement after their week 1 win against the Browns. The Steelers did just that as they would come away with a 17-6 victory and the more important, 2-0 start in the division. Once again, it would be the Steelers defense that would control the game and showing glimpses of the Steel Curtain defense that has escaped them in recent memory. The defense did not come away with any sacks on this game but was able to pick off Joe Flacco three times and only allowed 24 rushing yards. The major positive the Steelers were able to walk away with was the ability to run the ball. LeVeon Bell and LeGarrette Blount combined for 24 carries and 87 yards with Bell scoring twice from a couple yards out for the only touchdowns of the game. If the running game can continue to improve each week and the defense continues to play lights out, the Steelers will be on track to have a much better season than most predicted.
