I like it. I think it could be more specific too.

    Yes.

i have seen this a couple times and I cant stand it. Some guys will call the same play over and over. then motion a guy to see if you are in man or zone, and then hot route 4 or 5 times. It's so unrealistic it makes me sick. Just another way to take advantage of the game.

Yea..Only exception are the CPU motion routes(green routes) and they need to limit these types of plays also.

    I like it.

So would you guys be fine saying,

When doing motion in Offense your receivers have to be set in their positions. Do not hike before this happens. Don’t motion (or audible to hot route) too much, one is fine but doing it like 4 times a play is cheese. Exception: The CPU motion routes(green routes) You must limit these types of plays also.

    ***GUYS***

I know you have already passed this rule, but talking to Frisk last night (he's the one who wrote the rulechange) I think he meant to word it differently.

We need to cut down on cheesy motion play after play after play. I'm sorry, but what Joeseph is doing is just plain cheese, although right now it isn't against our rules. He literally (literally!) motions every single play basically to find out if you are in man or zone. Then once he knows, he sits there and hot routes all of his receivers. He did this to me in Week 17. He did it to Gaddy who was furious last night.

This is taking advantage of the AI, no other way around it. We need to close that loophole in the wording of this rule. You need to make is clear that manually motioning players contantly is not allowed, period. I think Frisk is on the same page here correct?

My convo with Gaddy is below to give some more evidence to this.....please understand that he and I talk nearly everyday so the language might be a little 'R' rated.

    mcgad806 (10:36:16 PM): yeah
mcgad806 (10:36:23 PM): fuck this moition
    sterlingcoug (10:44:02 PM): score?
mcgad806 (10:47:32 PM): 35-31 raiders his offense is good.....mainly from all the motioning
    mcgad806 (10:52:55 PM): fuck me
mcgad806 (10:53:16 PM): god this guy
sterlingcoug (10:53:37 PM): heh....i feel you brotha
mcgad806 (10:56:09 PM): the motion was killa
mcgad806 (10:56:12 PM): really help him
mcgad806 (10:58:10 PM): he motion we he saw man coverage every play
sterlingcoug (10:58:38 PM): i know man...i told you very cheezy. its an exploit and thats how he wins. its not football.....ugh
mcgad806 (11:02:14 PM): a disconnet first year and now motioned to death
    mcgad806 (11:02:17 PM): argg
    sterlingcoug (11:04:08 PM): 0-2! ouch
sterlingcoug (11:04:13 PM): did you think it was cheese?
mcgad806 (11:04:19 PM): it was excessive
mcgad806 (11:04:23 PM): I motion but not that much
mcgad806 (11:04:38 PM): it killed me defensively
    mcgad806 (11:04:41 PM): i mean literally
mcgad806 (11:04:49 PM): my guys are cover guys
sterlingcoug (11:04:54 PM): i know. a new rule will be in place next year to limit motion
mcgad806 (11:04:56 PM): and they will always trail
mcgad806 (11:05:06 PM): so my man coverage was not effective
sterlingcoug (11:06:14 PM): i know man. its an exploit. plain and simple
mcgad806 (11:06:37 PM): after this game Moss is better than schilens
mcgad806 (11:06:43 PM): he doesnt need motion to get open
mcgad806 (11:06:51 PM): every play without motion it was stop
mcgad806 (11:06:54 PM): or short gain
mcgad806 (11:06:58 PM): motion big gain
mcgad806 (11:07:36 PM): play of the game
    mcgad806 (11:07:44 PM): 3rd down losing by 4
mcgad806 (11:07:51 PM): this was going to be the last drive
mcgad806 (11:07:58 PM): Brady see Phelps wide open across the middle
mcgad806 (11:08:02 PM): and the rookie drops it
mcgad806 (11:08:14 PM): I mean wide open for the score wide open
    sterlingcoug (11:08:23 PM): oh wow
    sterlingcoug (11:08:43 PM): that hurts
sterlingcoug (11:08:55 PM): i had tons of drops in critical spots this year too
    sterlingcoug (11:09:00 PM): weird stuff
    mcgad806 (11:10:27 PM): schielns 264 4 td
mcgad806 (11:11:59 PM): might be time for me to step away
mcgad806 (11:12:09 PM): I dont want solid play in the reg season
mcgad806 (11:12:15 PM): then money stuff in playoffs
sterlingcoug (11:12:52 PM): oh....he didn't have solid play in the regular season
mcgad806 (11:13:40 PM): so when I played man and showed it
mcgad806 (11:13:52 PM): I had to switch out cause I would see the motion
mcgad806 (11:14:01 PM): then he hot routes
sterlingcoug (11:16:37 PM): was he snapping before :20secs?
mcgad806 (11:17:05 PM): yeah no problem there
mcgad806 (11:17:19 PM): I should have went quarter
mcgad806 (11:17:21 PM): or more dime
sterlingcoug (11:17:42 PM): k. honestly, i think he's a good guy and i dont think he is maliciously cheating, but he found an AI exploit and thats how he wins.
sterlingcoug (11:17:51 PM): thats not how it should be.
mcgad806 (11:18:01 PM): yeah i was surely getting tired of the motioning.
sterlingcoug (11:18:02 PM): hopefully these new season 3 rules will help some of this
mcgad806 (11:18:04 PM): I told him it was a lot
mcgad806 (11:18:09 PM): he said its in the book
sterlingcoug (11:18:18 PM): he's right. there is no rule against it right now
mcgad806 (11:18:21 PM): you know I motion but I dont do it to that degree

Yeah maybe this statement by me was slightly mis-interpreted, that is my fault. When I said "constantly motioning" I am not speaking of in one play, I mean in a drive or possession. Of course it is cheese to motion 4 times in one play, but some guys will push it to the limit and motion every passing play......which can be 50% of an offensive drive. So say a drive is 8-14 plays, an owner will motion 7 times or more, that is unacceptable and realistic.

What if we make this slight change below, does that work better?
