I just reread the rules and it lists run commit and pass commit as legal this year. Is there any limit to how many times this can be used or is it to be used at will?

I only use Pass Commit when I know it will be a passing situation. Most of the time I leave it alone until I need it (like if the opponent is potentially going to gain the lead or score).

I think using it every down is a bit cheesy but that's not my call.

Yeah I only use it in obvious passing situations, 3rd and long or late in the game when I am leading. I never use run commit, because it is broken. Last year it was overly effective and it is very ineffective this year. Plus you can guess correct, run left for example, but a half back with decent agility can cut it the other direction.

Ya run commit is crap so you can use that whenever you want haha

Pass Commit is fine in passing situations. If you call it every play you can easily be gouged on long runs so I feel it is pretty balanced in that manner.
