    International Bowl (First Game)

    Ball State 14
    Rutgers 44

The Rutgers seniors wanted to go out with a bang. The defense looked shaky on the first drive, but ended up holding BSU to a FG attempt, which they missed. Rutgers would then go on a 27-0 run to close the half. Rutgers received to start the second half and Mohamed Sanu returned the ball 90 yards for a TD and a 31-0 lead. The Scarlet Knights would add a couple FGs in the 3rd quarter and give the second team players an opportunity to play the 4th quarter. A good beginning to the AbolishtheFed era. Unfortunately, Rutgers loses its all-time leading QB (Savage) and WR (Sanu), plus the top 4 pass catchers and leading tackler.
