Rutgers had to endure a very terrible game by their offense all-together by relying on their special teams and defense to secure a 28-21 victory over USF.

Late in the 4th quarter, the bulls scored from a big time pass by QB Prince to star WR Fitzpatrick. With the score tied 21 all, the Scarlet Knights were relying on QB Daniel sims to save them. This time, he was struggling. Sims threw 3 INT's on the game as a focused Bulls defense stifled Rutgers. The bulls speed from sideline to sideline slowed down the Rutgers offense. Their CB's covered the WR's very well and they were very opportunistic not only picking off Sims 3 times but recoving 3 fumbles from Rutgers RB's, two of which were returned for TD's. Starting RB Lonnie Lloyd fumbled twice and both were returned for a TD, while backup RB Kyle Arnold fumbled as well running the rock.

with 3:54 to go, Rutgers was simply trying to get good field position. Arnold received the kick, proceeded up the right side and seemingly found a crease but was met by two USF Bulls...but Arnold broke the tackle of one defender while the other fell over his own teammate. Arnold then ran up the right sideline before sideswiping past another USF Bull for a 92- yard TD return. This seemingly broke USF's heart because on the next possession, USF QB Prince was picked off to seal the game. It was a struggle and the fumbling problems for Rutgers continue to be a huge issue. These guys are dropping the rock every game!...GG Blaza

blaza had a good gameplan, didn't want to throw....primarily a running team but his QB went like 5/18 on the day with 2 picks himself...
