    Tulsa 17 - UCF 31

Classic Rivalry game in C-USA as the Golden Hurricane take on the Knights of UCF. From the beginning, the UCF crowd was amped up and ready to do whatever it took to bother the Tulsa offense. The scouting report was pretty clear after their match-up with Rice last week...Kinne likes to throw. And throw they did. Rickey Johnson scored on a 80 yard strike late in the 1st to open the scoring. Coach P, knowing he had to keep the game close to stand a chance with their ground and pound style, would manage to get a FG in the second. Tulsa quickly added a FG to go back up by 7 at the half.
At the half, Coach P made some minor adjustments to the defense. Brynn Harvey continued to pound until he was able to score on a 7 yard rush, bringing the score back even. Tulsa wasted no time getting back on the board with a 72 yard strike to Ricky Johnson, further exploiting a weak UCF secondary. UCF quickly returned the favor as QB Calabrese hit TE Adam Nissley on a corner route, over the defender, for an 82 yard score. After a stop and punt by Tulsa, the Knight would return to the endzone on the legs of RB Jonathan Davis. On the next drive, Tulsa was stopped short on their own 40 yard line. The decision was to go for it on 4th, approx. 6 yards to the first down. Pass play over the middle batted down for the turnover giving the Knights excellent feild position with 3+ minutes left. UCF put the ball in the hands of Brynn Harvey as they continued to control the clock. He would eventually score the last TD to bring the final to 17-31.

The Knights travel to Greenville, North Carolina next for a matchup with the slumping Pirates.

    #17 TOLEDO 13 - CMU 20
It was a full house for the MAC Game Of The Week at Kelly Short Stadium. The 17th Rank Toledo Rockets 6-1 (3-0) lead by Heisman running-back candidate Morgan Williams wasted no time to put a damper on homecoming festivities at Central Michigan 4-2 (3-0)). 1st qrt action RB Morgan Williams scamper first play from scrimmage 75yds to the house for a TD. CMU would answer back before the half ended with a 3yd TD run from Parris Cotton. 2nd qrt action both defensive's set the mood only giving up FG's as they headed to the clubhouse knotted up 10-10 at the half. In the 3rd it was much of the same neither team score. wasn't until the the 4th when the rockets manage to put something together an come up with a 20yd FG from Ryan Casano. CMU R.Hogan would answer back with an 44yd FG midway threw the 4th to tie the game up 13-13. The Rockets had plenty time left on the clock to put an drive together an they did but the Chips would hold em though which lead for a long 39yd FG attempt from the rockets Ryan Casano which strayed wide right. 44 seconds left on the clock CMU's back up QB AJ Westendrop connected with a pair of strikes in Toledo territory to set-up a 1yd run from FB Tyler Lombardo for the win.
