    MWC 2010/2011 CHAMPIONS: AIR FORCE
    [IMG][IMG]

Air Force put together one of the best seasons of their program. Coach Noffke (known for his offensive skills) implemented the triple option. This is the first time that a team had used the triple option for the entire season in LV. Coach Noffke had a very balanced run game and a passing game that was efficient and effective. The offense in the red zone was unstoppable. In 62 attempts, Air Force had 39 TDs and 20 FGs (95%). The Falcons red zone defense was solid as well. In 25 attempts, opponents managed to score 9 times and kick one FG.

    The three headed-monster rushing attack:

QB Tim Jefferson: 118 car, 1219 yards, 16 TDs
RB Asher Clark: 185 car, 1247 yards, 19 TDs
FB Jared Tew: 120 car, 541 yards, 11 TDs
In addition to QB Jefferson’s running ability he finished with a passer rating of 208.5, 2104 yards passing, 15 TDs, 5 Ints, and had a 69% completion percentage.

This team played as one unit. The defense played lights out all year. The most points in a game that Air Force allowed was 21 to Oklahoma (14 of which came in the 4th quarter when the back-ups were in). The defense only allowed 108 points to its opponents (13 games). Air Force led the nation in TO margin with +32 (offense only committed 10 turnovers on the year).

This is one of the most balanced teams Coach Noffke has ever coached. Coach Noffke will enjoy this season and his recent victory in the Sugar Bowl before he prepares for next season. Coach Noffke knows that next season will not be as easy as this season.

    SUGAR BOWL SCORE:
    Air Force: 45
    Wisconsin: 14

13-0 Final Record, 8-0 in MWC, Sugar Bowl Victory
