    Preseason/Week 1
    NIKE SPARQ Top 5
    1. WR CHAD SCOTT - ROCKY MOUNT, NC
    [IMG]
    Measurables: 6'3'' 204 lbs, 4.42 (40)
Chad Scott is the top ranked recruit according to NIKE SPARQ. With the frame of a grown man, this high-schooler combines great length with solid speed, and should be able to contribute right away at the next level. Scott has been known to make ridiculous catches during his high school career, and it has caught the attention of scouts at major football programs across the country.
Top Schools: FLA, TEX,GA, FSU, OHST, LSU, VT
    2. WR EDWARD BUTLER - OZARK, AL
    [IMG]
    Measureables: 6'2'', 218 lbs, 4.42 (40)
Edward Butler, the second rated wide receiver and second overall rated prospect, is very similar to #1 ranked Chad Scott. With a little less height and a little bit more muscle, Butler relies less on his spectacular catch ability, and more on his pristine route running. Butler made it loud and clear to recruiters that he will only seriously consider programs whose offensive focus is throwing the ball.
Top Schools: OU, USC, TA&M, CLEM, WV, TENN, FSU
    3. MLB TODD DOUGLAS - SAN MARCOS, TX
    [IMG]
    Measurables: 5'11'', 229 lbs, 4.50 (40) SQ 705
Texas High School recruit Todd Douglas is the highest rated defensive player in the nation according to NIKE SPARQ. Although short in stature for the LB position, Todd Douglas is known as a coverage specialist who is able to man up with surprising success. With solid speed and tackling, Todd Douglas is a "can't miss" prospect. Also, Douglas registered the heaviest squat out of any prospect in the nation at 705 lbs. That strength impressed scouts, and will certainly translate at the next level.
Top Schools: TEX, LSU, TA&M, TCU, OU, BOIST, HOU, ULM, IWST, WYM
    4. ATH B.J. LEAK - LEISURE CITY, FL
    [IMG]
    Measurables: 6'0'', 208 lbs, 4.34 (40)
Leak is the 4th overall recruit, and top rated ATH in this high school recruiting class. With tremendous speed (finished tied for 4th in 40 times according to SPARQ), many scouts seeing Leak play either corner or running back in college. In high school, Leak showed tremendous elusiveness, and was one of the top kick and punt returners in the nation - an asset any coach would love to have.
Top Schools: ALA, GA, LSU, AUB, ORE, TOL, AKR
    5. ATH JOE BELL - MARION, IN
    [IMG]
    Measureables: 6'3'', 207 lbs, 4.26 (40)
Bell is the fastest recorded player according to NIKE SPARQ. With a highly impressive 40 time, and great size to boot, many scouts think Bell could be an ideal WR prospect. However, a few of my sources also say that Bell, who played both ways in high school, also has the skill to play either corner or safety in college. One even went as far as saying, "I've seen this kid ring people's bells (pun intended) on the defensive side of the ball."
Top Schools: ND, OHST, FLA, MICH, TA&M, MIA

LOL, yeah he is all over the place with his choices. I can't find a common element for any of those schools. He has a few SEC schools, a couple MAC schools and a Pac 12 school.

Clemson Fighting Tigers Football - Re-Tooling Report

1.) Prospect to join Watkins and Peake should they stick around for their Senior seasons...Either way, we will be set at WR for the next 3-4 years. Eddie B has good size, great speed and acceleration, and has decent hands. He must improve in his route running and learn to catch everything thrown him way. Under the tutelage of Junior Receivers Watkins and Peake, I'm sure he will learn alot.

2.) Adam Wilson is looking like a gem. He is from Clinton , Md, A suburban city in Southern PG County MD, just minutes from where Coach CT currently lives. Homegrown talent is a plus. He can play Corner, Safety, Lineback, hell, He could play TE or Reciever if we asked him too. Clemson definitely will be "winning" at life if he stays the course and signs his letter of intent.

    3. This guy can flatout Ball. I have T Boyd leaving to play in the pro's next season, but also a red-shirted Freshmen in Chad Kelly who is ready to pick the Offensive reigns. Coach CT is tryin move a way from the Read Option, and Sheldon may be able to help facilitate that. He has a strong arm and is accurate. He isn't that quick or mobile, but can extend plays long enough to get the ball out. He is a little on the short side, but that doesn't matter much in our program.

4.) Brian is ranked #24 on ESPNU's top 150. He is also the #1 QB recruit in the land. He is a skilled QB with a big arm, and big size. He will fit nicely in system. He is my second choice, should Sheldon Johnson decide to go elsewhere. Either way, we will have a nice QB to redshirt for a year.
