After a week-9 bye, the New York Jets pick up a road victory to maintain first place in the AFC East.

This game started out ugly as Seattle marched methodically down the field (5 minute drive) on the opening drive to score a TD. After a few defensive battles which resulted in punts, Mark Sanchez threw a bad ball on curl route and was picked for 6 early in the 2nd quarter. The Jets were down 14-0 mid-way through the 2nd quarter, on the road, it didn't look good. However, Mark Sanchez turned it on! His favorite target, Santoni Holmes, who went deep on a huge PA pass play that pulled them back within a TD. The next drive, pick-6, only this time it was Revis who would pull the game tied.

In the second quarter we saw both teams really try and get the ground game going, but as the stats below illustrate, these teams were tough to run against. Much like the win against the Colts in week-6, the Jets relied more on the arm of Mark Sanchez in order to secure the win.

It had been 3 weeks since I have played a user, at least, so it was really nice to have this battle against gowazzucougs last night. It was a great game, as sim as it gets, a true gentlemen, too.
