I'm not going to get my hopes up, but there's still an outside chance of Toledo sneaking into the National Title game. Sitting at #6, Oklahoma, Alabama, UCF, UCLA, and Nebraska are ahead of the Rockets. It's possible since everyone's in different conferences, OU plays, OK State and all the others have CCG's.

Also, WMU stayed ranked at #10 in the BCS after losing in double OT, whereas Miami Ohio dropped from 6 to 11 after falling to Temple.

Will Carder's yards and TD's be enough to earn him all conference over the dual threat Owens from Toledo?

Who will accompany Page at the all conference receiver spot?

Who cheesed it up with their TE enough to get that honor?

Who user DT'd the CPU to death enough to grab that prestigous honor?

Find out in a couple more weeks when we sit down with John and Al for the CCG preview / Madden's All Mac Team!

NIU Rips Rival Ball State 34-0 Behind Strong Defense
    [IMG]
Ball State couldn't muster anything against the Husky defense, as the Cardinals could only put together 167 total yards, and turned the ball over 6 times. Things just never looked like they were going to go Ball State's way throughout this game. NIU, in contrast, put together over 350 yards behind a strong running game and great decision making by QB Chandler Harnish.
Chandler Harnish put together an efficient game through the air, going 13/16 for 158 yards and a TD. Running back Jasmin Hopkins had a solid game as well, racking up 124 yards on 15 attempts, including a pair of scores.
Overall, not a ton to report here- this one was all Northern Illinois as they dominated at home in front of a packed Dekalb crowd. Ball State's sophomore QB had problems all game with the noise in the stadium.
Good game BPHusker , like I said you couldn't get anything to go your way.

Looking good. Now if we had some After Effects pro and video clips we could do a highlight video each week.

    #7 Toledo 62
    Central Michigan 34

This week, Toledo would not go into double overtime as they came into the game heavy favorites. Toledo's defense looked soft and allowed over 500 passing yards, but they did force 4 interceptions, 2 by MLB Terrell Anderson, which gives him 8 on the season. QB Owens was shaky in the 1st half, with 0 TD passes and 2 picks, but he was able to step it up in the 2nd half. This game never got too close, and was basically a practice game for Toledo who do not want to look past Ball State. If they win there, they expect to see a rematch with Temple in Detroit.

Terrance Owens (QB)- 18-35 for 264 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 24 carries for 50 yards, 2 TD
Adonis Thomas (HB)- 13 carries for 151 yards, TD, 3 receptions for 15 yards
Eric Page (WR)- 5 receptions for 81 yards, KR TD
Kenny Stafford (WR)- 4 receptions for 73 yards, TD
Terrell Anderson (MLB)- 11 tackles, 2 INT
Desmond Morrow (CB)- 4 tackles, 2 INT

Try to keep it under 60. I know it is hard sometimes as thins happen, bu I recently tweaked the rules and would like to keep scores under 60 if possible.

Sorry, had to actually be a commissioner for a second there.

    4 weeks later.

I better go edit your players back to normal-- I was wondering why you had 5 receivers that were 6'8 and an offensive line averaging 6'9 345...

I saw that the other night when I was looking at commits.

also, I would advise utilizing the phone book PM we have-- way easier to schedule imo.

Hey no problem, figured you would understand. I know most leagues around here are usually 65 or 70- we're just trying to be unique here in the OC is all
