Week 16 seen the rematch of the two AFC North powerhouses. In their first meeting, the Bengals came away with a landslide win when the Steelers were coachless. This meeting, Coach RRAHx2 is at the helm, and since his hiring the Steelers haven't been beaten. This game lived up to expectations, and both franchises came out trying to prove they are the best team in the AFC North.
The game was back and forth throughout the entire game, with one team gaining momentum and looking to have the edge only for the other to step it up and reverse momentum. Both teams mixed the run and the pass well and kept the other coach guessing. Both teams as well mixed up defensive coverages and blitz packages throughout. This game was indeed a "chess match".
The deciding factor in this one would come in the 4th quarter. The Steelers found themselves on 3rd and 3 with the ball around their own 30. The Bengals lined up in the 46 defense and were intent on shutting down Mendenhall and the run game that had found marginal success all day. Rothlisberger audibled WR Mike Wallace to a streak route thinking the speedster would beat CB Leon Hall since Hall was obviously going to try to press Wallace. Hall showed that speed isn't everything when Rothlisberger hung the ball in the air a little too long and Hall came down with a pick that ended in a Bengals TD and gave them the late lead. Again, in the waning minutes of the game, as Pitt was driving down the field attempting to score the tying TD, Rothlisberger attempted to throw a post pattern when he found a seeming mismatch between a Steeler WR and Bengals rookie LB Vontaze Burfict. Burfict made a excellent play on the ball for the interception. QB Andy Dalton then proceeded to hand the ball to BJGE once, then came out in the victory formation that seen the clock wind down to 0.
This was a great game from start to finish. RRAHx2 is a excellent player that deserves the awesome record his Steelers are boasting this season. I look forward to seeing you in the playoffs RRAHx2 !

GG DU55 it was fun man. Sorry again for the pauses, but it was a busy night here in the house, and it kind of killed the "flow" of the game. Hopefully see you in the post-seaason!
