    Oklahoma Lands First Commit

3 star JUCO tight end Charles Hayden gave his committment to Sooner nation this weekend. At 6'5, 238 Hayden is a nice versatile tight end who is a jack of all trades type player. He might not necesarily be an impact player, but he is a solid looking prospect that will only help Oklahoma in their pursuit of their first championship in what seems like, by their standards, a while. Hayden was also considering Stanford and USC before Oklahoma offered.

TCU Does Just Enough To Pull Away From KU
After a lackluster first half (and early 3rd quarter) which saw starting QB Pachall throw 2 INTs, including one for a pick-6, TCU got a boost in the arm from Sophomore QB, Matt Brown. TCU was able to score first by way of a 21 yard FG to go into the locker room up 3-0.

On the 2nd offensive play of the half, TCU QB Pachall was intercepted by LB Opurum and flew down the field to give KU the 7-3 lead. Coach BP had seen enough and decided to pull Pachall out of the game to see what Matt Brown would do. He was the spark that the offense needed to get going. Behind the legs of Brown and RB James, TCU was able to move down the field later in the quarter to take the lead back at 10-7. The TCU defense stood tall and intercepted a Crist pass to stop KU's promising drive. Brown hooked up with WR Dawson on 58 yard bomb where the safety got confused and let Dawson get behind him. Up 17-7, it looked like the game was over, but KU stormed back behind the arm of Crist and RB Sims scored with under 5 minutes to go. Brown and TCU kept it going as they moved the ball slowly down the field. On 4th and 1 from the 8 and only up 3, Coach BP decided to go for it, because even if the were stopped it would only allow KU for a few seconds to make a play. James stretched the play to the outside and crossed the goal line as the clock hit 0:00 to give TCU the 24-14 victory.

    Baylor 45
    Houston 21

The Bears pull off a big win at home against the undefeated Cougars 45-21. After going down 7-0, Baylor took control. Lache Seastrunk went down on his first carry of the game, really hurting the Baylor offense and special teams, which meant we would see the Bears throw a lot more than we are used to. Florence would score the first touchdown of the day, running the read option to perfection and scoring on a 20 yard scamper. He would later find Terrence Williams not once but twice to go up 24-14 at the half. The 2nd half would be all Baylor after a scoreless 3rd quarter, Baylor would put up 21 straight in the 4th, including a pick 6 and two more passing touchdowns for Nick Florence. Florence would end up with over 250 yards passing and 4 touchdowns, but did throw 3 interceptions on the day. Baylor will travel to UL Monroe next week before starting up conference play.

Kasper everyones ready to go since hornfan said to be simmed.
