Just so you know, my wife may be home by then. If so, we'll probably have to push it back until later tonight. Just text me when you're ready, and we'll go from there.

Air Force Offense Alive and Well in 35-21 Win Over Boise State

The Air Force offense had it's best game of the season points wise today as they exploded for 35 points against the Boise State Broncos. The Falcons racked up 464 yards as well (easily the most on the year) including 311 passing yards (most again). The Bronco defense was playing the pass all day which left a lot of room in the secondary and Connor Dietz was able to take advantage of it with the 300+ yards on just 8-12 passing. Dietz also had 3 touchdowns through the air, and an interception. FB Mike DeWitt had a big day, racking up 123 yards on 16 attempts including a 60 yard scamper late in the game against a worn out Boise defense. WB Wes Cobb had a beautiful 81 yard TD after he ran right by the safety, Brandon Hirneise snagged a 53 yard strike for a score, and junior Ty MacArtuher had his best game of the season catching an 86 yard touchdown while filling in for the injured Mikel Hunter.

Off the record, holy shit I didn't know I was even capable of that. They had guys loaded up in the box most of the game and for once I actually looked for these deep balls. Quite the average my receiver's had today lol...

Any chance you could play our game around 3-4 central time next week on Tuesday? I will have about a 3-4 hour window between getting back from my work trip and leaving for vacation.

Aztecs Dominate First Half, Hold On In Second
    San Diego St. ( dj illmatic 23 )- 20
    Temple ( sreese )- 14
Coming off an embarrassing loss last week to Houston, SDSU completely controlled the first half of their visit to Temple. The Aztecs returned to their ground and pound offense as HB Adam Muema carried the ball 27 times for 103 yards. Unable to score in the first quarter because of a Ryan Katz interception, the Aztecs opened the scoring in the second with a 32 yard TD pass to WR Brice Butler. In a rather strange play, Butler broke free of the CB on a slant route. However, he ran into the MLB which looked like it would be disastorous. Fortunately for the Aztecs, the collision distracted the MLB long enough for QB Ryan Katz to thread the needle between two defenders. Butler did the rest as he cut upfield for the first score of the game. SDSU would tack on a FG to go into the half 10-0.
The second half looked like it would be more of the same as the Aztecs tacked on a 5 yard TD run by HB Adam Muema which put them up 17-0 with 3:50 to go in the third. Things would turn in Temple's favor on a 44 yard reception by WR CJ Hammond along the sideline. The Owls went with a no huddle look and quickly scored two TD's to pull within 17-14 with 5:48 to go in the fourth. On the next Aztecs' possession, SDSU tried to swing the momentum back in their favor by going deep on a play action pass. However, the Owls intercepted the pass and looked to be on their way to taking the lead. The Aztecs' defense answered the call, and would not let the Owls score the rest of the game. SDSU tacked on a FG with 51 seconds left. This scoring drive accomplished two things. It made the Owls need a TD to win, and it forced them to use all of their timeouts. Any chance of a comeback victory was dashed by an interception by the Aztecs to seal the victory. The loss drops the Owls to 3-4 and 1-3 in the Big East. The Aztecs move to 6-2 and 3-1 in the Big East. SDSU hosts SMU next week in what looks to be a game that will decide the Big East Frontier Division.
    Offensive Player of the Game
    SDSU HB Adam Muema: 27 carries/ 103 yards/ 1 TD/ 1 reception/ 13 yards
    Defensive Player of the Game
    SDSU SS Marcus Andrews: 1 tackle/ 2 Int's

GG Kapono. I didn't know what to do when you knocked BJ out in on my second drive of the game. I guess its a preview of next year if I don't get a athletic QB. :(

Sums up the game rather well... :p (Go to 6:37)

    Louisville 31
    S. Florida 3

Louisville opened the game with the ball and put a pretty impressive drive together but they had to punt on USF's 35 yard line. USF couldn't put much offense together, and it didn't help to lose QB BJ Daniels on his first pass of the game with a concussion. Will Stein started his 2nd straight game and won both, looking impressive. When Stein ran in a 6-yard TD run off a read option, that gave UL a commanding 21-0 lead going into the half. Louisville added another score and USF didn't get on the board until 5:39 left in the game with a field goal.GG BPHusker

    UL
Will Stein (QB)- 18-28 for 222 yards, 3 TD, INT, 4 carries for 19 yards, TD
Dominique Brown (HB)- 13 carries for 60 yards
Jeremy Wright (HB)- 4 carries for 22 yards, 9-yard TD reception
Michalee Harris (WR)- 7 receptions for 92 yards
Eli Rogers (WR)- 5 receptions for 56 yards, 2 TD
Preston Brown (LB)- 9 tackles, TFL, FF

    USF
Eveld (QB)- 3-11 for 106 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT
Demetrius Murray (HB)- 12 carries for 23 yards
Evan Landi (WR)- 2 receptions for 91 yards
    J. Jenkins- 9 tackles, TFL

In this version's game, I actually prefer pocket-passer QBs as opposed to scramblers. I'm hoping Teddy understands that he has the starting QB spot all wrapped up for 2013. Losing him would suck.
