    Contender or Pretender
Each week we will pick two owners and highlight one team or player. The two owners will then debate in this thread whether that team or player is a contender or a pretender.
Please no comments other than those from the selected owners. However, you may "like"their posts.
    This week's team will be:

    Minnesota Vikings
This week's owners selected to debate are:
Be honest. Be opinionated. Keep it clean.
    Go!

(FYI, it would probably be more interesting if you guys pick opposite sides :p)

The Vikings?...Pretenders!Being in such a tough devision with 3 teams within .5 games. the Vikings do not have the roster power to compete. The Vikings have lost to the Jaguars with a (3-4) record, the 49ers who had shut them out in a 26-0 victory, the lions in a divisional game with a record of (3-4), and the Titans 41-24 ( titans are 4-5). They need to prove that they dont play to the competion and that they can win consistantly.
They had given the Redskins their first lost of the season which was a great win but thats not enough...Lets see if they can prove me wrong!

Are the Minnesota Vikings for real? YES! And here's 5 reasons why.

    1. Adrian Peterson. Arguably the best RB in the game, AD has been known to dominate a game.

    2. The Vikings lead the NFL in turnover differential, with +14. Protect the ball, force turnovers, and hand off to Peterson. Sounds like a recipe for success.

    3. Minnesota ranks 6th in the NFL in 3rd down conversion percentage. Keeping the ball out of the opponents hands limits their offensive opportunites. If the other team can't score, they can't beat you.

    4. The Vikings are in a division with Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, and Drew Brees. Those guys are elite passers, but this season the Vikings secondary has been causing chaos. They have 21 interceptions. The next highest in the NFC North is the Packers, with just 10. If the Vikings secondary can continue to play like this they will be hard to beat.

    5. Did I mention they have Adrian Peterson?
