    Welcome to the Swamp Mizzou!

The Gators busted into the top 25 after last weeks upset of then #7 Georgia. This week they got the Missouri Tigers at home.

This game was sloppy and I'm not just talking about the field conditions in the rain. Neither team could get out of their own way for the first three quarters as it was a 6-3 Mizzou lead at the end of three quarters.
MU QB James Franklin was annoying all game. The Mizzou up tempo, no huddle running game was effective for most of the game, however they could not get it into the end zone. Even after getting a first and goal at the 1 yard line, the Florida D was able to make some stops and force the short field goal to keep it within 3.

Three quarters of punting and field goals. Then the fourth quarter started and "Boom Goes the Dynamite"!

The Florida offense finished off a long scoring drive right after the start of the 4th quarter with a short run up the middle for paydirt. Once the flood gates were open, there was no stopping the Gators. The passing game was lackluster all day but the running game really sprang to life. The defense also stepped up and got the ball back fo Florida.

RB Gillislee scored two more TDs on some long runs in the fourth to earn player of the game honors. By that time the Florida offense had switched to strictly ball control and a worn out Missouri defense gave up some long runs.

In the end, the backups came in and Jeff Driskel took advantage of an over aggressive Mizzou D on the blitz and rumbled 80 yards for a garbage touchdown.

A 6-3 third quarter deficit turned into a 31-6 win for the Florida Gators!

Next week the Gators take on a UL Whatever in a late season cupcake game, followed the next week by a game versus FCS Whatever. There better be a lot of stats for the backups heading into Rivalry week against the Florida State Seminoles.

Aggies Bounce Back Agains Mississippi St.

A&M responded well against the Bulldogs as the Offense gained over 600 yards. Manziel impressed again passing for 3 TDs and 224 yards, going 12 for 19 on the day. Christine Michael carried the team on the ground running for 230 yards and 2 TDs on 16 attempts. The Aggies have a big game against Alabama next before finishing the season out with Mizzou for what has been nothing short of a fantastic inaugural year in the SEC.
