Virginia stomps Duke 31-13. The Virginia offense is finally putting it all together and producing. They barely managed to get over 100 yards a game in the opening weeks, against Duke, they put up 520. QB Marc Verica had a 218 yard, 1 touchdown day on 13 of 22 passes. Freshman HB Dominique Wallace is emerging as a playmaker, with 141 yards and 3 touchdowns on 21 carries he is proving himself as a national threat. Backup HB Torrey Mack put up good numbers as well, 74 yards on 17 carries, controlling it in the end to burn the clock. Virginia controlled the ball throughout the game, with just under 25 minutes of possession, to Dukes 8. The Cavaliers have won 6 straight games and should continue to climb in the rankings as they control their destiny in their division. With big games against Maryland as the final home game next week, and travel to Boston College, and a big game in Blacksburg against the hated Hokies, the Cavaliers look to carry all the momentum to the ACC Championship.

Nice win Cimmy. The Cavs are looking might tough recently.

    NCSU-24
    Clemson-6

Clemson had three starters out with injuries including QB Kyle Parker, yet they were up 6-0 at halftime. Russell Wilson came out strong in the second half and the offense started clicking. We eventually scored 17 points including the first TD a beautiful pass to TJ Graham up the middle for a TD. We scored a garbage running TD with little time left trying to run the clock down to make it 24-6.
