Bengals Right the Ship The Bengals take care of the visiting Colts in dominating fashion 31-7. The defense held the opposing teams offense to just 117 total yards. Dunlap and Johnson kept adding to their sack totals with 2 and 1 respectively. Coach Chandler and OC Jay Gruden felt that the team relied on the pass a little too much with resulted in the defense being on the field to long and that transcribed to losses. Green-Ellis was tasked with keeping the offense moving forward with Dalton keeping the defense honest with the pass. That recipe worked out well as Bengals dominated time of possession amassing nearly 24 minutes to the Colts barely 9. Dalton was pretty efficient this game throwing for 230 yards and 3 TDs. Of course he still had to throw one silly interception to keep the stats from getting crazy, I guess. BJGE topped the 100 yard mark in this game while also catching 4 passes. AJ Green posted another 100 yard game beating the coverage a few times for nice gains. Mohamed Sanu would not be outdone with 4 catches and 62 yards. More impressively is the O-line did not allow a single sack or even let the defense catch a whiff of Andy Dalton's cologne. Poor Kevin Huber didn't even get a chance to punt, so he decided to sit on the sidelines eating hot dogs. Coach Chandler was pleased with how this game played but know that there is more work needed. The one blemish on this victory is that nickle cornerback and return man Adam Jones got injured during the game and would not return.
