    Another Heartbreaking Loss
Heals Fail to Defend Hail Mary as Time Expires
This week, Carolina drops to (2-4) on the year due to some very controversial plays and poor 4th quarter defense. While clingy on to a 7-point lead early in the 4th, the Heels fell victim to a ref miscue as QB Bryn Renner dropped back to pass and was hit as he threw and the play was ruled as a fumble when replays showed Renner's arm was moving forward before the ball came out. Louisville was able to convert the turnover into a TD to the tie the game with 5:43 remaining. The Cardinals eventually took the lead with just over 2 minutes remaining after 4-yard TD pass from QB Teddy Bridgewater, but it was not enough to end it. The Heels came back and tied it up again on a 37-yard TD reception by WR Jheranie Boyd on 4th and 12 with :19 remaining. Seeming as though the game was headed to OT, UNC had a horrible miscue in pass coverage on the final play of regulation and Louisville WR DeVante Parker converted a Hail Mary attempt into a 44-yard game-winning TD as time expired.
Next week, Carolina will have to lick their wounds and go on the road to face the Miami Hurricanes.

Damn it Auburn! I want Denard to win the Heisman! Jerk

    Anyway,

It was a sloppy rainy game in West Lafyette. Denard Robinson had a stellar game throwing for 156 and 2 tds while running for 112 and tacking on another score on the ground. Because of the rainy conditions both Gallon and Roundtree dropped wide open bombs that would have resulted in two more easy scores for the Wolverines. The Boilermakers kept it close through the early second quarter before falling behind 31-14 going into the half. The rest of the game was all about ball control for Michigan as they pounded the rock and played good D getting their second string some valuable reps in the 4th.

    Michigan 41 - Purdue 14

Michigan improves to 4-0 on the year.
