FSU Cruises Past #6 Notre Dame

Tallahassee, FL -- Florida State had multiple opportunities to pull away in this game, but every time they got a little separation a big play by Notre Dame would keep them in it. Jameis Winston again had a poor game throwing 2 picks and only 1 TD. The Player of the Game, once again, for FSU would be RB James Wilder who ran for over 200 yards on the day. The Irish defense tried eveything they could to contain, but in the end it was Wilder who had the last say. He would eventually run down the clock as the #4 Florida State Seminoles get a huge win in Doak Campbell 42-26 over the #6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Ohio State took care of business against Auburn. The Buckeyes were favorites entering the game and they performed like the better team. Miller started strong with a long drive ending with a short touchdown pass, but he struggled on the next two drives. He was picked off on the Buckeye's next two possessions. The coaches pulled Miller aside and the pep talk helped him focus. He followed up the interceptions with three touchdown passes and he added an additional score on the ground. Miller finished the game with a season high 350 passing yards. WR Corey Fields led the way with 175 receiving yards and a touchdown. Carlos Hyde also had a strong game with 112 rushing yards and one touchdown. On the defensive side OSU held Auburn to 270 offensive yards and forced two interceptions. The Buckeyes also racked up three sacks in the game Adolphus Washington led the team with nine tackles including one of the sacks. Armani Reeves and Bradley Roby nabbed the interceptions.
