Win streak extended to five for Ohio State
Miller put up impressive numbers against Maryland, but this week's game against Penn State was a better game. For the first time in several weeks Miller avoided turning over the football. He also made some nice passes on third down attempts. The Buckeyes were perfect on third down when Miller was on the field. OSU scored touchdowns on their first three possessions. The touchdowns were scored through the air as Miller threw three touchdown passes to three different receivers. Miller score added a rushing touchdown in the third quarter before sitting out the remainder of the game. With a crucial game against division foe Rutgers next week the coaching staff wanted to keep the starters in one piece. Backup Cardale Jones performed well in his time on the field. Jones passed for a score and he rushed in a touchdown. Corey "Philly" Brown also performed at a high level in this game. He caught 6 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. The defensive side of the ball played much better this week. Armani Reeves snagged an interception and Penn State QB Christian Hackenburg was sacked three times. The Nittany Lions threw a lot of dump passes but OSU defenders were able to keep those plays at a minimal gain.

Wisconsin Wins, Loses White for 11 Weeks
Wisconsin was able to easily handle Purdue on the road, but the victory came at a valuable price.
Starting RB James White suffered a fractured foot in the 3rd quarter. He hobbled to the sideline after the play, but immediately collapsed once he got near the Badger's bench. Trainers expect White to miss 11 weeks with the injury.
Backup Melvin Gordon will now take over the starting role for Wisconsin.
In other news, QB Curt Phillips continues to excel in his senior year. However, after starting the year only throwing 1 interception the first 5 games, Phillips has thrown 3 in the last 2. The Badgers hope he regains his amazing ability to keep the ball secure.
